My husband has COPD and recently had a lung collapse. Had I not gotten to him in time; he would have died. Jessica I have meant to call you. My son is at the Lahey Clinic since January. He is not in a place where he can have the system for now. There is talk that he may be able to go somewhere when/or if he survives. The response time is great. The fall button is too sensitive. It even goes off when I go over a speed bump too fast. The automatic response sometimes talks over the second message and even over the operator so it becomes difficult to understand and respond. Yesterday it kept going even after the alert was cancelled.

MobileHelp appealed to me because my brother does not have a landline, the price was very good, and they had a variety of options to choose from. I would say the experience with MobileHelp has been excellent. Everyone I spoke to at MobileHelp was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and professional. There was no pressure or sales pitch, they simply provided information I needed. They explained to me the various choices that might work best for my brother. The equipment was delivered in a short amount of time and easy to set up. Once ready, one of the staff at MobileHelp did a walkthrough with my brother and a friend of his to test the various components; bay station, wristband, pendant, etc to make sure there was connectivity. Although you can also do a self test if you choose. Because my brother has diabetic neuropathy and his balance is a problem, and he can fall easily. I'm frustrated by how often the batteries need to be charged. I was led to believe it would just be the initial charge, but im getting notifications all the time of low battery. Also, my inlaws find the fall detection overly sensitive and they go off too easily when it's not an emergency.

The ordering process was ultra-simple, with a rep that knew everything I asked. The unit itself arrived quickly and just as described. It even comes with a doorknob placard to put on the door so you don't forget it when you go out and about. I would prefer one smaller and lighter that responds the same way as my current device does. Please contact me if this is an option to exchange my device for such a device. You can see the device very easiler under my shirts and of course it is recommended to wear to the length of middle of the chest, which for a women makes it protrude up and forward.

This device includes sending a message to a central call center if/when I fall, and I have fallen. I was not hurt in as a result of the falls and was able to cancel the alerts. One of these falls may be serious. It is nice to know this will be protecting me.

I’m 78 yrs young and live alone. I had a stroke 8 years ago and have fallen numerous times, breaking my weak left foot twice. I FINALLY decided to get MobileHelp after my last fall last Nov. Pendant and wristwatch bad design with buttons too easily set off by simple normal actions such as moving in bed while sleeping. Alert buttons should be inset as to prevent accidental alarms !

Service is poor! I made a shoulder-high test long back but the result was not communicated for a long time. The package did not include any LOCKBOX. No response about this missing LOCKBOX for weeks even after reminders. Even after repeated reminders, the LOCKBOX was mailed only by GROUND! The LOCKBOX did not fit my door handle but no response from MobileHelp! I had to arrange myself a SHURLOCK to make your LOCKBOX fit in my door handle.

Fall detection alert is so sensitive zi cannot wear the device when exercising, showering, housework, yardwork, grocery shopping...anything active. So whats the point of having it? Probanly only good for people who need to sit most of day.
