While my mother was getting out of the hospital I was looking for I was looking for something to help her when she got home. I Called life alert and wasn't really happy When the dispatcher couldn't give me any information but wanted to send me a brochure in the mail. My mother was due to get out the hospital in 3 days and I needed something quick.. I called medical health and talk to Thomas and he walked me through it and I set my mother up That day and being that she Lives in Florida it got to her in 2 days and we were able to set her up With GPS and Fall protection. I already had a false experience with my MobileHelp unit. I was wearing the unit when it just banged back and forth on my chest and set off a fall down down call. I naturally went to push the button to cancel the call but I messed up and didn't cancel but ended up stopping my text messages from coming. Needless to say I called the next morning to try to get some understanding of what went wrong and Thank God he gave a gentleman who was very patient with me until we got the mobile unit to work in my place.

Mom fell down a flight of stairs, just one week after getting MobileHelp! Their response was immediate; they called me and rescue squad immediately and when Mom got to the hospital they discovered she had a broken bone in her neck. I bought the MobileHelp Micro System with Fall Detection about four weeks ago when my mother was discharged from a short-term rehab center for injuries sustained in a fall. She had originally balked at the price and had already delayed looking into this herself. On March 31, after she was home for a week, I did some research, and made the decision to buy. It arrived very quickly - the next day! And setup was so easy that I almost thought we had missed a step. The battery did not hold a charge as long as the booklet said, but I got her into a routine of charging it daily while she was seated watching tv. She had become more mobile as weeks progressed and we thought we were in the clear. Yesterday morning, I had spoken with her at 8:24, at 8:47 I received an alert that a fall was detected. I phoned her repeatedly - no answer. I left work and started driving to her place. At 8:54 a rep called me to tell me they received an alert and they made contact but she was non-communicative. The paramedics were on the way. I got there just a few minutes later. She was in the middle of a stroke and she was brought to the hospital. This all took place so fast and so expediently, that I am sure it saved her life. I never imagined that this device would pay for itself over the year, let alone in just a matter of weeks. I fell at the mailbox and hit my head on the car hubcap. You called me immediately. I did not lose consciousness and was able to speak to the woman through the pendant. She was helpful, knowledgeable, calm, and stayed with me until I was safely back in my car. Three kind men picked me up and put me in my car. During this time she offered to send paramedics. I am an emergency room nurse and checked myself when I got back in the car. No signs of a head injury, I was able to walk and talk, and I did not lose consciousness. Therefore, I declined the paramedics. She recommended I not drive, but as I am now alone, I had to do a few things. She also offered to have a medical person check on me when I got back home. It was so comforting to be able to speak to a friendly person with medical training while I was going through this ordeal. My biggest fear was falling and not being able to get up. Having this lanyard has given me a new sense of security that I lacked before. I need to thank everyone I have interacted with since I went through the learning curve of learning this new equipment. All have been kind, patient, knowledgeable and very reassuring. I am less scared now to move around. I cannot think of any system improvements. The design and thought that went into developing the 24/7 support network has been exhaustive. My only comment is that is was not initially clear to me who to phone for questions. Should I push the pendant? I did not want to summon help for just a question. It would have been useful to me to have a phone number prominently displace for the user to call that was not an emergency issue. If there was a phone number available I missed it. Good product. I feel safe wearing it. Two suggestions: device is "bulky" and hopefully could be "streamlined" to a smaller, less bulky unit. Also would like it is white instead of the black. Service is very attentive. I am surprised battery only lasts for two days, rather than the four days promised. Fall detection seems at times "hypersensitive" and reacts with slightest down movement. I've only had MobileHelp for a few months, but during that time I had one false alarm which they handled well. Every time I have had occasion to contact them with queries they have answered my questions fully and most satisfactorily. The unit is easy to wear and keep charged. Our family switched to Mobile Help for all their features. My mother in law, who is 83 and has dementia, fell. She had her fall necklace on which detected the fall. Tex were sent to all family members and emergency help was sent. Very happy with the response.

I did it once and pushed wrong thing and the person on the other end was very helpful. I am trying to remember to test each Saturday. I like My wrist device and have had no problem with it.

I have had several occasions where some action on my part have caused the button to notify Mobile Health of an issue. Each time the button performed as it should. Staff answered in 2-3 minutes. I apologized each time. Unfortunately, I fell twice and the pendant did nothing. I am clumsy due to a history of strokes. I don't know why the alert did not function. Both falls were hard and should have triggered the system. Fortunately I was not unconscious and could have called for help.

Very easy to sign up and very helpful sales staff to determine what type of equipment was needed after having problems with two other companies. This is our first experience with Kneiding this type of equipment for my 100 year old mother. Our home does not have a solid Internet service on the second floor, nor do we have wired phone jacks on the second floor. I had no idea there were so many different types of equipment, all requiring a different power connection requirement for each type of equipment.

I've mistakenly dropped mine a few times while taking it off to shower and itvwill immediately say a fall has been detected. It shows me that if I were to fall it will detect it and call for help. Thankfully i haven't had any falls.

It has helped me feel more safe, especially when I have to go outside. Inside I am caregiver for my husband who is diaabled, so do much moving around, and it will go off when I don't mean for it to. However, I do wear it inside - just cautious when bending over, etc. I do not wear it at night as I turn over frequently and it would keep going off.

I started with Mobil Help after a major fall and severe injuries, I was excited to find a communication instrument that was worn on my wrist and included a timepiece, I purchased the Samsung Gear and used it untdil AT&T closes out their 3G service the Samsung used to communicate, I called MobilHelp and the personnel were most helpful in identifying a prouct that filled my needs and satisfied my idiosyncraces.

The battery life is too short" 2-4 days and the system tells you to put it on a charger. Three times it has announced that I have fallen and I save not even come near to falling.
