I like that I can push the button and get help but I hate this dang blinking blue light that is constant! It is so annoying! At night I put it under a towel so I don’t see it but it still comes through! What good is something that is supposed to help you but you don’t want to wear because it is so annoying?

I tested it and had an immediate response from a young man who asked me immediately what the situation was and I told him I was testing it at this time and wanted to be sure that I understood how it worked. He spent a second or two with me and explained everything and I was very pleased with that. However, I don't like the flashing blue light.

I did test it when I was at a friend's house in a different city and that worked out very well. They were able to tell me where I was, so the GPS feature did work, but I did fall once and it didn't detect it.

They're awesome. They're quick to come on as they check with me. If I don't answer quick enough, they ring me. But I don't think it stays powered long enough. I put it on, but I don't think it lasts too long.

They were able to talk us through how to set it up and how to test it pretty easily. The testing went very well, they responded politely and quickly and that was just a test. We've never had to use it in an emergency.

Within the last month and a half or so, Dad took a fall while the house was empty and he used the device to get some assistance, paramedics and the police, and that was a valuable situation.

I've tested it and the person does come on. They do ask if everything's okay and you can let them know you're just testing it. So that testing part works fine. It's when you ring it to find it, that's where the problem starts, because it never quits ringing and it keeps calling the customer service people. So that's one of the reasons why we stopped service. They don't know the answers to all my questions that I had and they couldn't help me troubleshoot why the thing kept ringing after ringing after ringing and wouldn't shut up.

So far it's worked perfectly. What I don't like is that I've given them a bunch of referrals and they have yet to give me the $25 that they said they would give me. I accidentally tested it when I went to my sister's funeral in North Carolina. I had it in my pocket to show my relatives. And all of a sudden somebody's talking to me and I've got it in my pocket. And I realized that this Medical Guardian asking me if I was okay.

I wish the battery lasted longer because my mom's not real good about charging it and she has to charge it every five days. I gave them the correct information when I first signed my mom up and somehow they got it wrong and then I had to sign a sheet, send it back, and then they wanted me to do it again and we just can't keep doing that.

The representative we worked with was very attentive and thorough and helpful. It broke for my dad. He called and said that it broke so my brother was able to get it back together for him, but I guess that was disappointing that that happened. Other than that, everything has been okay.

The mini guardian's size and price are good. Haven't had an emergency to know the full response. Test response time was good. Battery life is less than expected. Disappointed with Location History feature - can be days with no update and then can have 4 entries with same time and place.

When I fell they they immediately called my son, which I had requested, and he was already on the way over here and it took him forever. They called me back and said that he didn't answer his phone, but he got here before anybody else. I thought they should have got a hold to him, but they said they couldn't.

I got it as a gift and I did not get enough instructions when I first used it. For example, I was laying on the floor of my bedroom with one speaker in the living room, and I couldn't understand the person on the speaker and they couldn't hear me cause I wasn't shouting loud enough. I could not pick and choose where I would fall. We got through that alright, the local fire department came in, took the lock off the door and they had to guess what to do, I couldn't tell her what the problem was.

We had a device for my wife's aging mother, who was 99 when she passed away last year. She was in Florida and my wife was paying for it from California, and her sister that had been taking care of her mother, took the device to turn it in to Medical Guardian, left it in their drop box and we canceled the service. They've just in this last month charged us for another year's subscription on the device that we canceled. My wife asked me just a day before yesterday to get involved and see if I can get talk some sense into them, because I just paid $600 for this one. I don't mind doing it, but now they have extracted another $500 from my wife after they said they wouldn't. So we're not happy with them and if I have to, I will package this thing up and send it back to them and I'll go to another company.

There was an issue initially with the device and it took calling 3 times for me to realize that the reason why it was performing a certain way was because of the way it was set up. I just feel like that should have been resolved on the very first time and every agent should be knowledgeable about how the devices work specifically. It shouldn't have taken 3 times for me to get that resolved.

My mom wore her device to bed, and she activated it by mistake. And she had firemen and emergency personnel in her house when there was nothing wrong, so that was kind of a good test. She doesn't wear it around her neck anymore while she's sleeping, but it sure did its job.

It blinks a blue light at me so I know it's on. It's just nice to know that somebody is there if I need them. I was sitting in my reading chair and my book fell and alerted them. The person that responded was right there. They responded as soon as that rang. I appreciated it didn't have to put me on hold.

I've just had it a short time, and the very first thing I noticed is that it's light. I had one previously and it was so heavy I just couldn't imagine having that around my neck all the time. But this is quite light, just like a necklace.

I think the quality is really good. I wear it in the shower, I wear it all the time. The only time I take it off is to charge it right beside my bed and if I wake up in the night to go to the bathroom, I put it back on.

I had pushed the button to make sure it was working and the girl came on, and she said "Are you okay? Do you need help?" I said "No, testing." And that was the end of it. So that was very good.

My mom, she set it off accidentally a couple times and she gets called right away so she knows it works so it makes her feel at ease. It's user friendly. It was very easy to set up.

I like the feeling of security that I didn't have before, knowing that there was something there that if I had a problem I could notify someone quickly. I have accidentally set it off multiple times and they have been good about it.

I dislike the weight of it, but I like that I have a wide range of functionality as far as the range. My mom tested it several times and it's worked immediately, so it's a quick response. They are very courteous, and very clear with their direction.

It's lightweight, easy to wear. I have found that when I do my monthly check-ins, the people are very polite and I appreciate how easy it is to handle when I push the button to check in. Everything works very nice.
