I was under the impression my mother could hear and talk through the necklace unit. She is very hard of hearing so despite her small house I am worried she wll not be able to talk to the operator.
My first machine delivered was not working properly. Despite all the work done by Guardian techs, the machine continue with it's problem. I called the following day and was told that they were going to replace and upgrade to a better machine for the same price. I have not receive it yet. I surely hope this one will work out! So my experience turned out to be awesome!
First the shipment came and the product was just rattling around in the box. We have tried service all around the home and the best we can get for service is between one and two bars and it changes from minute to minute. We did the test and for the most part it was good with in the yard and home, I will have my daughter do more testing a little later. We called the help line with questions and concerns and the help there was worthless. The women did not know a thing and was unable to help us. I will have my daughter try to reach another person at the help line when she gets a chance to see if she will have better luck. We have had several false alarms, (not sure why on four of them), however that part and probably the most important part the responders were very quick and professional. My situation was somewhat different because I was ordering the system for someone else and they do not have a land line. The rep listened to my needs and was very helpful.
Was given an amount for 1 year of service which I agreed to in advanced. Have been charged an extra $329.45 which I have yet to get refunded. At this point I am considering sending the equipment back as soon as it is received.
so far i am enthused about getting this unit.that is all i can say at this time except for the fact that the man who signed me up was very nice and knowledgeable.
