I just received mine yesterday and decided to test it in the other side of the house. When I pushed the button it told me that if I wanted to cancel the call push the button twice holding it down for 7 seconds on the second one. I did that but a few minutes later I got a call from the fire dept. that paramedics were on their way. I told her it was a test but she said I had to tell Guardian that it was just a test so that they could cancel the alert. I did that but a minute later the paramedics were at the door. It was embarrassing but at least I know that I will get help quickly. The next time I test it I'll stay on the line until they answer so I can tell them it's a test.
I wanted to order something for my mom in case she fell, I live 2 states away from her and needed some peace of mind that she would taken care of if she fell. It took forever for her to get the unit and 2 days after she got it she went into the hospital and didn't make it back out. After taking care of all of her affairs I sent the unit back and called the company hoping they would have some compassion and refund my money since she never even got to open the unit. Not only did they refuse to refund any of my money they told me it takes 30 days to cancel the service so I very well could be charged for another 3 months and will have to wait to get a refund for the charge. They didn't give one rip that my mom is gone, the only thing they were concerned about was that they got their money. I will never contact this company again nor will I recommend it, as a matter of fact I will discourage anyone from purchasing the service.

Shipping is horrifically slow. I ordered on March 5th and today is March 23 and the order for my mom is still not here. They already charged me for the service, and yet here my mom sits without the protection. I was told I would receive a tracking email confirmation, but I also did not. Furthermore, I sent Medical Guardian an email regarding a question I had and never received a reply. Will cancel my order asap.
We place a order on Wednesday evening of last week to be overnighted to grandma's house on Thursday. We wanted the system to be setup before we left the state. Thursday And Friday came and left and we did not receive the package. On Friday evening I called and spoke to customer service. I explained the situation and they aplogized and informed me that due to the storm the prior week the product was on back order, but they would ship it on Monday for Tuesday delivery at no cost to us. Tuesday and Wednesday came and left and we still have the received the system. Today, my husband spoke to another individual At medical guardian and explained the situation, and they said they would look into it and give us a call within 20 minutes. It is now 10:30 in the evening and the gentlemen never called back. Tomorrow morning my husband will be calling to cancel the order. It is ashame because medical guardian sounded like they had a really good product. Unfortunately due to poor customer service and lack of urgency on their part we will never know.

I am actually a bit disappointed. I was told that this would ship out on Monday 3-9 and it wasn't even shipped as of Wednesday the 10th. Jason said he would ship it 2 day air as I did not want my mother left alone, but now it looks like she will be alone without it as I still don't have email confirmation with tracking number and it is Friday.
I have not received the unit I was charged $329.45 on my credit card 3 Mar 2015 for. I have attempted to cancel the order all day 3/12/15. Michael Holt has stated he has not been able to reach his manager concerning this and indicated he would get it straightened out before he left work today. It is now 7:51 PM Ga time and he is not available. I can believe he has not been able to contact his manager because I have tried 4 time s today to reach someone on 1 8003131191 and only one time I was successful to speak to some one and the Lady told me she would transfer me to some one else but instead she just hung upon me. TWO TIMES I just got tired of the voice mail after 10 to 15 minutes listening to the recording all was busy and would get to as soon as possible. ONE TIME I stayed on line till I guess the recording was programmed to just hang up. By noon tomorrow I will go to my card services and ask they take action to reverse the charges. I will also write the BBB concerning type of services given by the medical Guardian.
I asked if AT&T would cover our area before making purchase. I was told that AT&T data lines could be used even though we did not have complete phone coverage. When I tried to activate the service, the operator told me that the device would not work in our area. I was told I would get credit on my credit card (90 day commitment required) when the device was returned. I confirmed my email address and said I wanted the return label emailed to me. So far, I have not received the return label. Salespersons should not misrepresent area coverage.

I had a terrible experience. I purchased this for my mom Cecelia Gregory. Received the product and didn't work and than he sold me the new device which also didn't work. Sent both back and was told I would receive full refund in 30 days. Never did after numerous calls. They said it should be in my account and they never submitted the refund.
