Device is great, lightweight and not a nuisience like I expected it to be. Response is quick, courteous and helpful. Sometimes the response is too quick for those times that the device was triggered by accident. A few seconds delay would give the user time to cancel the call thus avoiding notifying others unnecessarily. My daughter now tends to ignore any notification thinking it is just another mistake. When does a customer complain the service is too quick? I think this may be a first!

I chose this company because of the ability to install without a landline, thus allowing placement not near a phone jack. Equipment arrived the next day and set-up and testing was smooth anb took five minutes. Included a lock box too. The only reason this tdid not get a higher rating was an over enthusiaric sales person that put me off. Otherwise a good product and overall good experience.

I have called a couple of times -accidentally - and the Responder has been very patient. I didn't realize that the responders voice comes over the modem or whatever that thing sitting in the charger is called. I am concerned since I keep mine by the front door to remind me to take it when I leave the house. If I fall back in my bedroom can the responder hear me?

Neck and wrist alert devices were included in the sign up agreement, but only the neck alert device was shipped with the base station. I had to call Medical Guardian to notify them that the wrist alert device was not included in the shipment. The wrist alert device was received promptly. Activation of the system was easy.
My order was taken OK and the device shipped OK. Everything was as expected. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it, yet, so can't evaluate its value. I am concerned, however, that I have never received a detailed invoice of the charges to my American Express card.

thought it was ok at first , now just the opposite when I placed my order I was promised very fast delivery, it has been over a week now( I was told 2 or 3 days at the most) being shipped Fed X it still has not arrived this being 2/19/2016 making me very unhappy and a little unsure of the company since they can't even keep a promise of a delivery date making me concern about how the rest of their business practices and methods are up to the standards that they say they are up to , it is leaving me with a little sour taste about your company right now and very disappointed with them, at this point if matters do not improve quickly I might not stay with them after trial period and will try another company, when I placed this order I was promised very quick delivery, a free lockbox and the extra $5.00 a month would be dropped , like I said nothing so far and here it is Friday at 2:30 in the afternoon and they do not deliver on the weekends so you can understand why I am upset with them right now
I initially spoke to "Tim" on the phone. He was very pleasant and very helpful, even when I called him several times. After I received the alert equipment I spoke to a woman who walked me through setting things up. She also was very pleasant and helpful. So far, my Medical Guardian experience has been more than satisfactory.
So far so good. I just rec'd the equipment and that was really quick a day or so. They helped me to test the equipment and provided the instructions. It will take time to get used to wearing it and feel comfortable.
It was a mostly positive experience except that we were shipped two devices instead of one and had to go to the trouble of returning the duplicate device. That caused a flurry of misunderstandings as MG thought we were cancelling the service when they received the return shipment of the duplicate device. The only other "do better" is that MG requires you to pay three months up front. After the three months, I set up the payments from a checking account. I was asked to pay quarterly and had to ask if it cost to pay monthly and was told it did not. I am paying monthly but I feel it should be MG's responsibility to tell their customers that they have the option to pay monthly or quarterly. I should not have had to ask. Other than that, the product works well and we are satisfied.
We had a great experience working with medical guardian. We were looking for a system for our Mom and Ed a consultant spent a lot of time talking with me and he advised us what was best for her and what would work at her rural residence. I can not review the call center as we have not had an emergency situation. Shipping was very fast. I have researched All medical alert systems and finally decided this was the best alert system for the money out there.
While trying to start up my new service, I had to press the button 6 or more times. Each time, someone would come on and ask what my emergency was. At the same time, the man on the phone was giving instructions. I only have the use of one hand and it was getting quite frustrating after the 6th attempt. Here's hoping it goes smoother from here.
