I saw a lot of advertisements about it and thought I'd give it a try. So far it has been pretty good. They respond fairly quickly when I do the tests but I wish they were a little faster. In an extreme emergency, every second counts. I don't know if other companies are faster than them, but I'm just going to stick with it. It's just lying around, because I'm allergic to the watch. I got all 3 pieces of it, and it's just lying around. I haven't had to use it for any reason, I very seldom use it. The fire department came to my house, once, and I didn't know that they were coming; I hadn't called them. It takes them too long to answer the phone when you do call them, and I had to replace the watch, once.
I made my choice based on the reviews that I read. I have Parkinson's and so far I've needed to use it twice. One incident involved a fall and the other one happened when I couldn't get up from the bathtub on my own. I called for assistance and they responded immediately. They were out here within 15 minutes and everything was alright. Their response time is great and they're professional and reliable.
I was looking through a magazine for the elderly and I read their Article, so I choose that one. I highly recommend it. Twice we've used it. I consider it only for extreme emergencies, but it works, and I do check it every month. It takes about 5 or 6 rings before somebody picks up, but they do pick up, and they're available to answer anything necessary. It was a very easy system to get started. It was one phone call, and within a day or so, everything was set up. It was very conveniently done.

I decided on Medical Guardian when I saw it was rated number one. It's actually my father's, but I can describe it. It works, but the only disadvantage to the one that we have is that it does not go off when he falls down and can't push a button. They do make one that does that. It's ten dollars more, so $59 a month, and there's much cheaper ones on the market. I will probably switch back to a different company which is about twenty dollars cheaper, with a device that will go off when he falls down. Medical Guardian is a good system but it's way more expensive. They do answer the phone when he needs it answered. I do trust the company because they work, they answer, they make calls to wherever our list says, and they provide a lock box for your house.
My daughter looked them up on the on the computer and said it was good. I already did recommend them to others. They're good at customer service. I just like the way they are. It's convenient, too, because I have one of them on my neck, and I have one on my arm. I can use it in the shower, and if I'm outside working in the yard, that's when I use it the most. So I like the way of its construction.
I liked that it goes with me out into the world, not just around my house. I've only tested it, but one time when I called them to test it, it took quite a while for someone to answer.

My husband checked into several online, and this looked like the best. I'm very satisfied and I think that it was the right way to go. It's been very positive, and I think we did recommend it to someone. I haven't had to use it, but when there is no one else in the house, I usually wear the necklace part so that I can send for help when I need it. They don't call very often, and when they do, they're quick and concise about it.
I found it via internet search and chose them based on that. Haven't used it yet, just normal everyday usage. It's easy to setup and use, but once you activate it, their customer service is very unresponsive.

I got it for my mother who is 93 years old now. She decided she wanted to wear both the wrist and the necklace at the same time. I told her she didn't have to do both, but she did anyways. The thing is, since the wrist bracelet was so big, she decided to wear that one in her ankles...The only time she had to use it was when she hit it by accident. They were very prompt and polite when they responded.
I compared various programs on the internet and I decided that this was the best one. I've used it for a few times as a test but I have not had occasion to use it in an emergency, and I hope I never will. On the few occasions where I have had to speak to somebody, I have had a prompt and courteous response.
They are very prompt and helpful, and they have the type of device that is very workable for what I need.
We got Medical Guardian based on having the quickest response, and having the outside button to put up, plus an extra key. It doesn't seem like we've had any kind of issues with the equipment. 2 months back, my mother was trying to get our mower started, and she pushed the button by accident. We had an ambulance there before we knew what was going on, so that was a pretty fast response time. They tried to call me and I was busy, so they got my husband's number, and then we start to get hold of each other. I've just been really pleased with the service that we've gotten. Every time I've ever called for anything, or do the testing, everything's worked out real well.
The service was recommended to me by someone that works at a nursing facility so I decided to get it for my father. I've had no problems with customer service, they've been very helpful and professional. The button has not failed me, not even once. We've had to use it 3 times and those 3 times they've been able to get an ambulance and contact me quickly. Actually, I was at church once when the device went off. When I got to my father, the ambulance was already on scene and they were treating him.
I never had to use it. I keep checking to be sure it's running all right, and it's always good. I haven't had any problems. I have a bracelet that I wear at night, and I feel very safe knowing that I can call anytime that I need help. I know I can depend on them. I push the button to have it checked, and they're always right there. I know if I needed anything, they would be helping me.
We got it because it was recommended. Haven't had to use it just yet, but when we call for questions they've been responsive. It's convenient to have either the pendant or the watch band.
I needed the GPS location. I charge it at night and then in the mornings I put it around my neck. I used it a few times, several times deliberately just to find out if it works, and also if I bumped it by mistake it worked then, too. I've used it about four or five times and it always works. The people that I talked to were intelligent and courteous.

She said she would use it, but it was never used. We had to put her in an assisted living home, and they have their own buttons, so I'm goanna return it. I was really happy with it and its value, but we couldn't get her to use it. It would have been great if she had... Maybe if she would've used it, we wouldn't have had to put her in a home so fast. The people who've I talked to on the phone have been really, really good, and so was the device itself. We've shown it to a lot of other people that my mother knows. We would recommend it.

I have a patient that has ASL and I needed to be able to get someone to take care of her if I couldn't do it myself in case of an emergency. So far there hasn't been a reason for us to use it but she has pushed the button twice already. Those weren't emergencies, she just couldn't get to me with the phone she had. It does take them a long time to get to me though. By the time they contacted me, I had already gotten the problem fixed. Usually I just call them back and tell them things are ok.
It had everything I was looking for. From the beginning, I was able to get a hold of somebody, and they answered all my questions. It's kind of expensive, but I would continue signing up with them for next year. It's for my parents, and they needed to use it one time when my mother fell. My dad had to press the emergency button for the paramedics. He has this speech impediment, so the service allows the responders to know their names. The paramedics arrived and my dad didn't have to do a lot of explaining or speaking. It's convenient. There was a big emergency button near the phone for my parents, so it works. It's just good security for my parents and for me.

It gave me the best advantages. I do need to test a little more often that I have been, but its a wonderful thing to have, and I like to let everybody know that I'm very satisfied with their service. I wear it 24 hours a day, always carry my little transmitter receiver on my belt when I'm leaving the house, and sometimes when I'm in the house, but I'm always comfortable feeling that if I push that button, they'll be talking to me on my receiver. I live by myself and it's the one thing that I could count on; pushing that button and getting somebody's attention to do what I need to have done. It was a genuinely good experience, there was just one technical issue'it was a little bit difficult to plug in to the telephone jack. We needed to get a signal splitter in order to do it, that was the only down side that was out there. My mother wears it, she's in a two bedroom apartment a few blocks from us. The device works within the range of the monitor in the apartment. It's not a GPS type of device, so when she's at home, and if there's a problem, she's able to signal me and send an email to my self, my wife, and to a babysitter we have.

It was on a Saturday, and Monday was a holiday, so they said I'd have to wait and call back when their office was open, and that would be on Tuesday. It kind of had me worried; what if it was something really important? I just wanted to ask about why it was not charging right, because they sent a message to some of my folks about that. I don't know if it was not seated right but I just needed some help with it, and they told me to I have to wait and callback on Tuesday. I thought, gosh, what if it runs out of battery power and I needed it before Tuesday? Somebody needs to be on call on the holidays and weekends in case you have trouble with your device. Those were the only negative things. I originally decided to get it because I could use it anywhere.
I thought it was very simple and it was just what my Mom needed. Everything has been very good. When she tries to call, they're patient and they get the message across to her. They called me once when she had tripped the alarm, which was great. I was on the way down there, but the GPS in it said she was still on the move, so it was actually a false alarm. It was still a very reassuring thing to know that it worked.
