SAP Litmos is a relatively new LMS system on the market that is loaded with features and designed for use by any size of the company. It utilizes modern concepts in its learning tools and in its clean, easy-to-use interface, makes it easy for the average user to dive into courses. Their prices are on the expensive side, but these prices also vary depending on your number of users.
The platform has all the basic features you could want in an LMS. It supports the upload of videos, audio, and multiple text formats within the course builder. The analytics are comprehensive yet clearly laid out; you can easily track the progress of your users, as well as award them custom certifications. The software is SCORM compliant, mobile-friendly, and allows for e-commerce easily managed on both the front- and backend.
SAP Litmos even goes above and beyond the scope of normal features and offers benefits many of their competitors can't. They enable live course monitoring and allow you to link your own domain name with their platform. They allow simple gamification of their quizzes and practices-- this is something that can be invaluable for your users' memory retention (and if not, users can always let you know how your course is doing through SAP Litmos' simple feedback survey).
SAP Litmos' pricing is fairly reasonable:
They also offer all of this in a trial download. It's simple to download and allows full use of their features. SAP Litmos continually provides a good deal of customer support for customers and potential buyers through their blog, community, and direct phone and email support.
Though SAP Litmos does make monetary transactions possible, they do not provide their own e-commerce platform directly. You will have to handle transactions through Paypal or PaymentExpress. Though SAP Litmos does (almost) seamlessly link to these third parties, this isn't good news for those who want to avoid either of these systems. You won't get much of a choice if you want to utilize SAP Litmos' e-commerce features.
SAP Litmos' product is still a new development and hasn't had time to go through many evolutions. They have no major clients to back up any sort of reputation-- the best way to get a grip on their credibility is to download the free trial.
