Using documents, videos, essays, and multiple-choice quizzes, you can create courses, assess students, and analyze progress and results.

At just $99 per month, Rethink Training is one of the less expensive options as far as online training platforms go. They also offer a free 14-day trial, which is relatively uncommon among its competitors, who often provide only a free demo. Additionally, Rethink Training allows customers to add extra users for just $5 each so that there is a little bit more flexibility among the payment plans because rather than paying for a higher-level plan, you can customize your current plan to your needs. Rethink Training allows you to build courses and customize them with photos, videos, and documents using drag and drop tools. You can also create quizzes directly through the platform, and then monitor the progress of those enrolled in your course. Rethink Training also allows you to interact with students and staff who are taking the courses. According to Rethink Training's website, this platform is used by Fortune 500 companies, as well as Inc. 500 companies. Robert Cornish, the CEO of Richter10.2 Media Group has said regarding Rethink Training: "Training our people is and has been on of the biggest game changers to date. We have seen through detailed measurements that it has resulted in our rapid expansion allowing us to beat and double our monthly numbers. There are a number of features that Rethink Training is missing when compared to similar options. Although this company allows you to add documents, video, essays and multiple-choice quizzes to your course, you can't add PowerPoint presentations. There is also not a way to run live webinars; rather you can only post previously recorded videos. They don't offer a tool to build games from course content, nor a way to reward completion of courses with a certification. Rethink Training is also not SCORM or TIN CAN Compliant. While Rethink Training does offer a free 14-day trial, which is more generous than many competitors, they do not provide a money-back guarantee for customers that are unhappy with the platform after using it. Customer Service is another area that Rethink Training falls short on. Other than officially signing up, there is no way for a potential customer to reach out and contact them. Additionally, the lowest payment plan ($99) doesn't allow for phone support, only email. The more expensive plans do provide phone and email support, but none offer live chat.

The Bottom Line

A relatively new company, Rethink Training has already built a name for itself among Fortune 500 and Inc.500 companies. This online platform provides several features that allow companies to quickly build courses and begin training their employees and customers. The 14-day trial generously allows potential customers to try it out before committing to the monthly price which ranges from $99-$399 and up. Some missing features include gamification, certification, live webinars, and the ability to integrate PowerPoint. Customer Service support is made up of a FAQ page, a blog, and phone and email support. However, phone support is reserved for only the top two plans, and both phone and email are only available to paying customers. Customers should feel comfortable trying Rethink Training, particularly because they are one of the few LMS companies to offer a free trial of their services; however, customers should also remember that Rethink Training is not SCORM compliant, and their platform may be below industry standard.
