The company is older than most of the other companies in the industry since they were founded in 1996. Due to their age, Zoho has a higher reputation and experience level regarding their live chat software products.
Customers can cancel at any time during the first month of their monthly subscription plan and receive a full refund from Zoho. The company will then downgrade customers' accounts to the free plan of the service they were receiving. If customers have an annual subscription, they can cancel within the first 45 days of the plan to receive a full refund. After annual subscribers cancel, they will also be downgraded to Zoho's free version of the plan they had.
If Zoho fails to adhere to the annual subscription contract and does not address the issue in a timely fashion, they promise to offer customers a pro-rated refund for the remaining time of the contract.
Zoho strives to create safe and secure products for their customers. They provide 24/7/365 video monitoring security as well as fire, flood, and theft security systems. Their network also features biometric access, encryption/intrusion detection, and other advanced technologies to prevent data insecurity.
The company has instituted an automatic renewal for customers who subscribe to their plans. Although this can be good for those who want continual services from Zoho, this system may worry those who do not want to renew their chosen plans. The auto-renewal continues to charge the user's credit card unless otherwise told.
Although Zoho's customer support team is available 24 hours a day on weekdays, they do not have any weekend hours of operation. If an issue arises on the weekend, customers must wait until the next weekday to get the problem resolved.

We use Zoho One which includes their chat software. We use it for customer service and sales inquiries. For the integration into the CRM and help desk solutions, it's excellent. And as a part of a single subscription it's virtually free.
