I had dish for quite a while and then moved to a place where a dish wasn't allowed. I never had any problem with them at all. Customer service was always kind and courteous, as was the tech line. I never had a price increase that wasn't announced. I also very rarely lost my connection. It had to be a monsoon to lose my picture, and never once did snow affect it. Overall, I would recommend this company as easy to work with and good service.

Have had Dish forever, since their inception. Had numerous problems through out the years, but they always manage to resolve them. Customer service can get a bit shakey, due to no one providing the same information. Customer service needs to be educated on problems that arise. May a question and answer (response) manual. Supervisors need to be available to customers. Have had an issue, not resolved by customer service, requesting a supervisor and they are always not available. Needs to be resolved. How about providing discounts, or preferred service and rates/benefits to customers that have been LOYAL Dish customers, a Senior discount directly on the bill. Be apart of AARP.

I used dish from 2014 until about late 2017. Everytime it rains the signal goes in and out. If it's windy it lags really bad, and it just seems like it's always breaking down. They would always send someone to come check it to see what the problem was and they always either found something and said they fixed it, or they couldn't find anything wrong. It never got better. They also have all kinds of hidden fees and promo charges on your bill after the first cycle. Watch out! Your wallet will pay for it. The ONLY reason it got a 2 star instead of 1 was because the call from start to end was flawless, and the scheduled set up date was flawless too. They came on time, answered questions, set it all up, and then show me basic remote functions and how to use other features. If the satellite service was as good as the customer service is, they'd be taking over.

I got rid of Direct TV due to poor service and several tuners that were absolute failures. I went to Cox TV for 10 days and dumped them. I have had Dish for 6 years now and have had very few problems. I also use Dish in my motorhome.

Paid for certain programming which Dish later dropped. My monthly charge did not go down, it went up. Customer service was very poor and they didn't seem to care. Dish had rather pay to attract new customers instead of retaining customers that have been with them for years. Well, they lost my business and I have saved a ton of money by streaming. Good riddance Dish!

Dish in comparison to other cable I've used in the past, they performance and quality is good while the only flaw is due to weather issues, the overall experience has been positive just no need to pay for 2 boxes or the hopper.

Most satellite companies have trouble keeping service during storms. Dish not only has affordable plans, they also make a strong effort to have uninterrupted service. Customer Service Agents are kind, and lead over any problem no matter how big, or small.

I live in an isolated area in extreme Northern California with no cell service, and little else and what's available is totally unsatisfactory. Dish has provided me with mostly uninterrupted serviocce for my internet and entertainment (TV) for over 5 years. I've never had such service in all the years (over 60!) I've used the others.

I’ve been with Dish since I got married almost over 24 years I have never had any problems with them and when I had technical problems, they are very helpful over the phone and even the text that come to the house I’ve never had any complaints about them and I would continue to be a customer with them.

More affordable with the channel s we want.plus there's voice command that is great at nite while watching TV in the bedroom.the dvr has large storage for recording your favorite shows plus on demand for episodes and movies you want.netflix and YouTube have there own channels on the dish netflix.for easy access.and dish works great in the mountains of Colorado.Thanks,G.B.Greiner

Have had Dish service for almost a year. Service has only been interrupted once due to a nearby thunderstorm but it returned shortly thereafter. On the one occasion I needed to contact Dish by phone, the representative solved the problem in a matter of minutes and also told me how to solve it if it happened again. It never reoccurred. The representative answered every question, was patient and was skilled.

Dish is the best source of TV viewing that we have come across. They offered us a very fair and reasonable price to install their product in our home, and offered a lot more movie channels than our previous encounters with their competitors. The only sad thing that neither Dish, or the other satelite providers can't fix is when it rains, the cloud cover blocks the single to the dish.

I like dish because otherwise I wouldn't have TV as I live in an extremely rural area. One of the things I am still angry about is that I was promised a $200 Visa gift card and they basically called me a liar I told them why don't you pull the recorded call. So it's been several months and I still have not received my Visa gift card, nor has my neighbor received her $100 Visa gift card. They keep putting it off, and trying to make me jump through loops. I so give up. I feel like that was a total scam. What I didn't like was the technician really botched the installation and was very lazy and got irritated with me when I told him I didn't want to cord running across my room. Anyhow I really like the channel selections and they offer a lot. They are very expensive but what's a person to do when that's all you've got. Customer service is pretty good as a matter of fact it's really good the telephone customer service is quite excellent. So I can't complain too much as it rarely goes down. I do test that huge bill every month.

I really liked Dish, I had them for many years and had a good overall experience. I used them in several states during my early adulthood. The issue I had was price. I didn't see the value once the streaming services picked up. I could get the same stuff streaming for about 60% cheaper. I would consider using the company again, but not at the rates they are charging.

Dish internet was pretty good, but when there was weather storms your internet connection and TV went fuzzy and off. So you had to wait until a storm had passed. They did link up with AT&T at one point and I never got to try their internet, maybe it didn't have the blotchy/buffering that Dish had due to the weather. But I will say when it did work, it worked well enough to get the job done.

We had Dish for one year before changing to a more reliable service. Being in Florida there are a lot of storms. The reception with Dish is almost nil during a rain storm. For that reason I would not reccommend.

Great customer service. One of the few that allow you to pause your account for a small fee. I use this service for my vacation home and turn it on and off as needed. With other cable companies I constantly had to turn in the equipment... annoying. Yes, it is prone to weather and messes up signal, but for the money you can't go wrong.

I enjoyed the service and channels provided. Their DVR system was pretty good with commercial skip. Like most services prices went up steadily the whole time I was a customer. If you like most of what you watch in one place they are fine, however with more streaming services coming out every day that is hard to do.

I contracted with Dish through a local provider in the hope of lowering my cable/internet bill. They had a booth at the local county fair. The installer arrived and did a survey of my home and told me they would install the dish system on my roof, but - couldn't guarantee that they would not damage my roof - couldn't connect to the coax inside my home - insisted they would need to put holes in my walls to the outside of the house and run their fiber along the floorboards I sent them home.

I had dish three different times when I have moved when I lived in one place the internet was extremely bad they said I live too far out in the country I transferred it it was somewhat better but still very expensive and then I had transferred it again and should have kept the same price as I had been paying all along well they tried to raise it by $40 per month I had to have a total fit on them to get them to reduce it but they still did not reduce it back to where it was

Good luck even getting service. Moved away and have been able to call different companies to see if they offer internet alone which I haven’t found one that does. Dish representative said he was checking asked for my phone number and address gave that out asked again about internet but apparently that depends on setting up an account first? and they won’t give you an answer until you set up an account with them? No thank you I’ll be happy to set up an account if I know you offer what I want. But you can’t even tell me yes or no about internet. Thanks for wasting your time and mine.

My only complaint is that their customer service could be better - it can take a while to get an answer to your questions or issues. Other than that though, I'm pretty happy with them overall!

Absolutely horrible service. Yes, the Hopper to record shows is nice, but unfortunately we could only record 2 channels at a time, and if the weather was bad, your recording was all messed up. Anytime it rained hard, the wind blew hard, or snow fell, we lost signal. You couldn't watch anything or use the internet. And the internet was the worst we have ever had! You cannot stream any movies you download. Forget about having strong enough signal to download files from work or the bandwidth to send large files in your email! They are partnered with HughesNet for internet and both Dish and HughesNet are awful. Just shop around for a better internet provider or for StarLink.

Satellite internet just isn’t reliable especially when you live in the Southeast where there are storms most afternoons, May through August. It was dial-up at best and didn’t work most of the time for simple tasks such as accessing email or trying to just buy some things online. After many service calls we just decided that no matter what we do we are not going to get good internet and canceled our service. The cost just wasn’t worth it. Dish tried their best but it all just depends on where you live.

I didn't want Dish TV to begin with. It was somewhat pushed on me thru a HughesNet CSR when I was ordering internet. I don't watch TV much so I went with as cheap and basic as possible. Set-up is aggrevating. I guess for the tech savvy they would be fine but not your "average Joe". Now I watch it even less. I think I would like the shows from an antennae better than what I have with a satellite. If they want to improve things the installer needs to have the time to actually set up the entire system so that I can pick up my remote and change channels. KISS

Was good until I moved and wasn't able to pay the few they charge for installing the equipment at the new place they will give you free installation when you 1st sign up but charge you $3k to move it and in o there to keep your acct you have to agree to 6 months or more and weather you have service or not you have to finish out the contract
