Charter Spectrum, also known as Spectrum, has been operating since 1993 and is a household name in the United States. The company, which recently merged with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, serves more than six million people, making it the fourth largest cable company and one of the largest in the country.
Charter Spectrum provides internet speeds up to 60 Mbps with no data caps. Its internet service requires a one-year contract.
Spectrum offers services in a huge span of the country, especially compared to other internet service providers.
Charter has been able to grow rapidly in just a few decades, attributing this success in part to its customer service commitment. That commitment involves a fast broadband network and all the tools necessary to meet internet connection needs.
The Charter Spectrum team is willing to help their customers in any way they can to have a positive experience with their company. They offer cable and fiber-optic internet plans.
Spectrum internet doesn't limit its customers with data caps. A lot of competitors have data limits, and when customers go over these limits they pay fees or their services are disrupted. It's a convenience worth looking into, and this feature alone may be what steers you to Spectrum.
The Spectrum internet team knows losing internet service can mean losing time and money. At some point, you'll probably need a technician to come to your home or business to work on network equipment.
Many companies who send out technicians leave the time window wide open and make the customer wait for hours for the technician. Thankfully, Charter Spectrum is different. They set a two hour window that the technician will be there. If the technician does not make the allotted time, Charter Spectrum will pay the customer $20.
They also have a 30-day money-back guarantee their customers can take advantage of if they are not satisfied with their service or the products they receive.
Spectrum offers fiber-optic business internet for companies who want a fast connection for phone, internet, and TV service. Spectrum Enterprise also delivers cloud services for their business customers.
While Spectrum may not have a variety of standalone internet packages, they do have several options that can help you bundle internet, phone service, and cable channels:
While Spectrum does charge a fee to lease a router and another fee for installation, the company is more transparent than some service providers in the industry. Be sure to read contract terms thoroughly and take time to understand billing, your monthly rate, and whether you'll pay more after a certain duration of service.
Most internet service providers try to meet various audience needs by offering many different plans and bundles. These packages usually have a large selection of internet speeds (download and upload speeds), features, and prices to choose from. With all of these options, you're more likely to find the best fit for your specific internet and pricing needs. This is not the case with Spectrum internet, as they only offer their customers one package:
If you're only looking for internet and this package doesn't impress you, you'll need to choose another ISP.
However, you may be interested in Spectrum's internet and cable TV bundling options.
Charter Spectrum offers an internet speed of 60 Mbps. Some competitors offer high-speed internet up to 1 Gbps for slightly higher prices. Potential customers will have to decide what speed they need and if Spectrum internet service is capable of delivering these needs.

Crappy service and the company does not seem at all Interested and making things better or even understanding why we complain. They know we have no place else to go and their service reflects that
I have had only positive experiences and I have moved several times since I started using them. Any mistakes on my account , due to frequent moving and were immediately addressed and resolved. The did not even charge me for installation for my last 2 new addresses.
Horrible. Overcharged by them and told that they will continue to do so until they can figure out how to pick up the equipment I am no longer using. Never heard back.
Superior service and response. My experience has been of the highest order.
Quality goes down every day. There solution to everything is to reboot or get a new box/modem.

After having been a client for over 15 years when I asked to see if there were any specials that I might qualify for I was told no I had been a customer to long to qualify for any relief.
Excellent service with very little downtime or problems. Customer service is helpful and knowledgeable.
Customer. Internet often offline - techs were mostly unprofession in appearance and performance.
Efficient, very low system problems - mostly rain related.
I haven't had a "down time" since I switched to Spectrum over a year ago.
Charter Spectrum has taken advantage of their local monopoly of broadband internet services to overcharge customers while throttling back on speeds. This ISP corporation like just about all of the others has an enemy of Net Neutrality, as it wants to divide the internet into fast and slow lanes and then charge more for the fast lanes while throttling the slow lanes further.
Service installed in a timely fashion. Had some initial issues but they resolved. Follow up suppyhas been good.
Very good, have always fixed any problems I have had.
Mediocre at best. Pricing keeps rising without a commensurate increase in up or down-load speeds, reliability or reduction in ping times.
the speed goes dawn and it is not what they advertise, dealinig with the company is super easy compared to AT&T
Too expensive, lose service frequently. I would use another provider if one was available but where I live is Spectrum's territory.
Works very well for me and works well for my family. Service is very good in our area.
Best we've had in twenty years. Are network has been up 24/7 for over a year
It is much slower than it advertises. I pay for 200 megs and get 30
Outstanding service and exceptional customer service
Overall they are quick to respond but the 2 day to 1 week response is unacceptable.
Soon as they bought Time Warner Cable they raised skyrocket high prices and I switched to AT&T/Direct TV
Provide very fine service and the cost is very affordable.

Good and reliable service. Slow to answer phone sometimes but overall good to deal with.

Just always have to call and complain to get anything done!

Great service, but far too expensive. Good Signal, great service, but becoming cost prohibitive.
I am conflicted. The internet speed is decent but for home phone, internet and basic cable it's almost $190 per month. That's crazy. I called and if I take off the tv access I'll save almost $100. So that's what I'll probably do. They have priced themselves out of my league and I'll get one of the services offered online. Shoot for what I'm saving I could get a few service.

Raise the rates without even telling you.. Nearly $70.00 for just internet. never get 100MB!
Easy to work with, just be honest. Been with them for many years now
quick access to internet at a very reasonable price
Spectrum has fast reliable service. Their customer service is knowledgeable and friendly. The price for the services provided are very competitive.
They are my business provider - First you alway sign up for the business plan if you are serious. As a business customer you go to the head of the class when things go wrong as they can. The speed is lightening fast, their customer service is consistently outstanding. I have had Comcast in the past and am so thrilled to not have to deal with Comcast and their "we just don't care" attitude.
Slow to respond with a lot of not at all responding. Old equipment.
Service kept getting interrupted, reception of internet and cable were horrible for the expense paid, over 200.00 a month
Suppose to have fastest speed, but very slow. We have had it tested, but they do not see a problem "on their end"!
They are very poor making appointments and contacting them for service is terrible
Service goes in and out regularly. Service techs unable to find the problem and just left it the way it was.
Excellent service. I don't remember when it has ever been down and I've been using it for about 7 years. Started when it was Charter and now Spectrum but service is better now than when it was Charter. Great service.
Expensive for limited services and no consideration for long time customers.
Reliable, good customer service, good quality. Good price initially, but after 12 months price increase is very problematic.
For $60 a month mysignal is not very strong and runs slow or disconnects often
Nor sure if I am getting their best deal.
The speed is normally very high but slows consiferably during times of high traffic
Availability is about 99% and rates seem good. I only watch about 5 channels. Ala cart options would be nice.
responds and resolves any internet problem i encounter
Too EXPENSIVE!!!! Continuously directing us to up grade, to even more expensive service
Their prices kept increasing unceasingly; they have outpriced themselves.
get content no outages fair pricing. good customer service, no problems with equipmejnt
Sometimes it drags and buffers. Streaming tv can be difficult at times. When the system is down/off ,you never see an adjustment in your bill
So far so good as I have had minimal problems having had this service for a short time.

Service was lost Thanksgiving week due to weather and their team worked 2 nights to restore. Good company
