Charter Spectrum, also known as Spectrum, has been operating since 1993 and is a household name in the United States. The company, which recently merged with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, serves more than six million people, making it the fourth largest cable company and one of the largest in the country.
Charter Spectrum provides internet speeds up to 60 Mbps with no data caps. Its internet service requires a one-year contract.
Spectrum offers services in a huge span of the country, especially compared to other internet service providers.
Charter has been able to grow rapidly in just a few decades, attributing this success in part to its customer service commitment. That commitment involves a fast broadband network and all the tools necessary to meet internet connection needs.
The Charter Spectrum team is willing to help their customers in any way they can to have a positive experience with their company. They offer cable and fiber-optic internet plans.
Spectrum internet doesn't limit its customers with data caps. A lot of competitors have data limits, and when customers go over these limits they pay fees or their services are disrupted. It's a convenience worth looking into, and this feature alone may be what steers you to Spectrum.
The Spectrum internet team knows losing internet service can mean losing time and money. At some point, you'll probably need a technician to come to your home or business to work on network equipment.
Many companies who send out technicians leave the time window wide open and make the customer wait for hours for the technician. Thankfully, Charter Spectrum is different. They set a two hour window that the technician will be there. If the technician does not make the allotted time, Charter Spectrum will pay the customer $20.
They also have a 30-day money-back guarantee their customers can take advantage of if they are not satisfied with their service or the products they receive.
Spectrum offers fiber-optic business internet for companies who want a fast connection for phone, internet, and TV service. Spectrum Enterprise also delivers cloud services for their business customers.
While Spectrum may not have a variety of standalone internet packages, they do have several options that can help you bundle internet, phone service, and cable channels:
While Spectrum does charge a fee to lease a router and another fee for installation, the company is more transparent than some service providers in the industry. Be sure to read contract terms thoroughly and take time to understand billing, your monthly rate, and whether you'll pay more after a certain duration of service.
Most internet service providers try to meet various audience needs by offering many different plans and bundles. These packages usually have a large selection of internet speeds (download and upload speeds), features, and prices to choose from. With all of these options, you're more likely to find the best fit for your specific internet and pricing needs. This is not the case with Spectrum internet, as they only offer their customers one package:
If you're only looking for internet and this package doesn't impress you, you'll need to choose another ISP.
However, you may be interested in Spectrum's internet and cable TV bundling options.
Charter Spectrum offers an internet speed of 60 Mbps. Some competitors offer high-speed internet up to 1 Gbps for slightly higher prices. Potential customers will have to decide what speed they need and if Spectrum internet service is capable of delivering these needs.

Poor equipment design (Cable connectors do not seat properly)

I'v Had no issues or concerns and their customer service is excellent. For me anyway. All may be a little more expensive, but not enough for me to leave They make up for that in service and reliability. I have had Directv. They are very good but AT&T sucks .
Not all is the best! No guide, not all channels are great! Prices start ok and the creep upwards in time that you stay. They all eventually do that.
Having tough startup. Just moved from CINCINNATI BELL back to Spectrum because Bell monthly bill went up.

Actually delivered speed of the Internet is commonly much lower than what you paid for
Cuts in and out at times. Spotty and can run slower when everyone is trying to connect. Also, cable, internet, and phone, is expensive.
fast internet speeds and reliable internet service. I also subscribe to the streaming television package.
They Provide 100 MGPS And Because my Router is in the other room I still get 65 to 70 MBPS
Because we are constantly losing wifi. And then when we call they want to tell us to reset it. We know this by now. Plus they charge everytime they do a service call
Slow, terrible connect. Terrible phone sevice,, Hate tv that they provide
Great speed, but it comes with a price. Not so unhappy with the speed as I am their customer service and hard stance on policies.
There are occassional times when something would happen and the modem needs rebooting. Never convenient times.
Connection speeds are a problem. Rolling outage but usually costumer service is really nice

I don't like the pkg bundles. For the most part it's fine
Internet lags often, and always have issue dealing with customer service.
service goes up and down... not weather related either
No complaints just didn't like the equipment ( modem, WiFi box, some random other box)
Service, installation, problem solving, band width and speed
Costs have increased significantly since TWC taken over by Spectrum; service hasn't been any better.
Because service is very bad ad you never get the speed they market
Download speed is good, upload is half of what FIOS was.
Never had any real issue. my provider also is cable
The speed of our connection seems to be inconsistent.
Because they service is terrible and cost is high
They are adequate. I do have an email problem that they cannot resolve.
Great service and a great value. When we have had issues, the response time has been exemplary.
Dishonest. They told me I was on a plan and my bill was fixed, then it was never done. You call and get India and they promise to resolve your issue within 72 hours, it never happens.
Spectrum took over Time Warner and they charge more for less

Too expensive, wish they would lower their rates, but we don't have a lot of choice where we live.
Lost connection too many times. Prices too high
I have had very good service with them !
Overall Cost - Customer Techical Service and Customer Service is Reasonable
technical problems all the time slow connection...etc.
Very fast, reasonably priced and very dependable
Consistent outstanding customer service.
Several service outages. They charge too much money for their service unless bundled with more.

They will only reduce my fees if I add cable and continuously send me offers to do that.
poor signal strength and the printer keeps losing the signal
Still have problems connecting ... doesn't seem to offer what they advertise
PURE CRAP IT IS LIKE I WAS INTRUDING WHEN I WOULD CALLL TO GET A TECH ISSUE TAKEN CARE OF .
I lose internet connection often, and have to manually reconnect. I also think it is priced too high.
not entirely clear in ads they arent exactly forward
High price for a 20amp speed basic tv is a waste try's to get u hooked on phone service on which I don't need.
Constantly drops and has to be restarted. Can't stream movies to smart TV without constantly buffering.
I have never had any problems with this company. I haven't been double charged every month like I was when I had CenturyLink.
I wouldn't rate any that I have used higher. Most have to-do customer service, and Charter never stops trying to upsell. I grow tired of that very soon.
Extremely poor customer service. Poor training on customer service representatives. Had to state my problem 5+ times and be routed to many different staff member before a conclusion was made. No improvement after all.
Slow and over-priced with poor customer service
Not always dependable. Sometimes really slow.
To high priced, poor customer service. . .............
