According to the company's website, MyIDCare will "refund up to one year of fees" that customers have paid towards MyIDCare restoration services only if the company fails to remove all adverse matters (within one year of the identity theft or identity fraud event) on the customer's record.
In order to receive the refund, the customer would have had to follow the proper procedures that MyIDCare provides for reporting the theft and would have already been enrolled in MyIDCare protection services.
MyIDCare's team does not operate on a 24/7 basis. The company's hours are limited to 11 hours per day on a Monday-through-Friday schedule.
Although the company does employ certified identity theft experts and strives to provide reliable customer service, the lack of a 24/7 operation may limit prompt responses to customer questions and concerns.
MyIDCare doesn't seem to provide any type of antivirus software or protection against a ransomware attack. Many other identity theft protection companies offer antivirus software and other personal information protection for customers' computers and devices.
Unfortunately, since MyIDCare does not appear to provide this type of software, customers must find and purchase the software on their own to ensure further identity protection as well as personal cybersecurity.

I was having a log in problem to input a new credit card into my account. the online screen continued to tell me my security answer was not confirmed. Thankfully I haven't needed MyIDCare to notify me of any problems on my account so the only interactions I have had from them are my monthly notices saying nothing has changed. I am always grateful to get that notice. I am thankful that I have someone who is able to watch my ID information to make sure if any bad things do happen that they can be caught right away.
I appreciate their keeping me informed 0n a regular bases of the status of my ID safety as this gives me Peace of mind.
MyIDCare is clearly the company to use for identity protection. I have had a membership with another company for over a year, and I’ve never heard from them. Within 24 hours of starting my membership with MyIDCare I received a credit report and valuable data breach information. The agent with whom I spoke was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She provided information that I can use to prevent fraud in the future. I now feel comfortable that my data monitoring is in good hands.

No problems since I have had MyIDCare. My identity was stolen several years ago, and it was recommended that I sub- scribe to MyIDCare. I receive periodic reports from them, and it is reassuring to know there have been no attempts to breach my security.
Only once did I think I might need them but the hours are all wrong. ID theft doesn't only happen between 9-5 on weekdays. This need to be available 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. You would need to charge more but you would find that acceptable.

Garbage. OPM's solution to account for theft of personal data is to provide substandard service in so many ways. Victims of IDENTITY THEFT are subsequently treated to a substandard service by OPM (victimized a second time by the very org that failed to secure their privacy). I wanted a mental assurance that I have something protecting all of my different assets. When I talk to them and when I need anything, I get answers back in plain English rather than very technical. They seem very up-to-date on all of the things that we need to be concerned about. Since I started with them I've had to make one call asking if I had a particular account added. They were quick to respond that they've got it covered, and the service was absolutely phenomenal. They're just very professional in their approach.
There was a data breach that I was notified of and was offered free monitoring for a year. I have not had an incident that required me to contact them. I like their alerts but sometimes they don't provide enough information for me.
I was automatically linked to them because of a hospital fraud situation. They stopped a critical problem for me, so I stayed on board with them after that. They went above and beyond in terms of promptness in getting back to me, and solving the problems that I had. I had both identity theft and fraud, and they took all the steps and measures necessary to get them corrected. They're constantly monitoring and notifying me of any potential threats or changes. I like being able to deal with someone and not get passed around to fifteen departments. I like the the one on one contact that I have with them, and from a consumer standpoint it's seemingly a smaller company so I feel like I get better support, and I think their price point is really, really competitive in the marketplace. I've already recommended them and three of my friends have switched to them.
They're very prompt about letting us know if anything's wrong. Every month we receive a letter advising of us of any problems, and we haven't had any. It's been going all right.
They've been diligent and proactive about monitoring whole business of hacking and in getting out the information on places that might be dangerous.
