Stolen identity events shall include medical identity theft, [which is] theft of the insured’s personal or health insurance information to obtain medical treatment, pharmaceutical services, or medical insurance coverage.”

Scope of Coverage

Members must report the stolen identity event no later than 90 days after discovery.

    I had a Chase Idenity Protection Program with My bp Visa for 7 yrs. Their program was satisfactory until Chase sold or Eliminated that business & recommended ITAC in May of 2012??, I believe. It was a Great Move taking Chases advice as ITAC does a Fantastic Job!! They have a ‘Total Package Deal’, if You will. Most Companies these days seem to hire Employees overseas. You might get Phil from the Phillipines, Tammy from Tiawan, Newt from New Dehili, Vicky from Vietnam etc etc. with ITAC You get an All American staff out of New Mexico, ALL speak English!! They r Efficent, Knowledgeable, Explain Anything & Everything in Layman’s terms, Friendliest Customer Service organization I Hv EVER dealt with & Most Importanty,They CARE!! I also have LifeLock which costs more, not nearly as Friendly, Efficeceny is Satisfactory at Best & after reading the reviews I reccomend ITAC Sentinel to ANYONE!!     I tried to call their customer service number to ask a simple question.
    1. They put one through a whole series of “offers” and THEN I got a message saying the toll-free number for my are had been changed.
    2. When I tried to call THAT number, busy forever! (It is probably off the hook, as we used to say.)
    3. Their website has no e-mail contact available, only snail mail. All so unprofessional! Ugh.

    I received this service originally thru my bank and have continued to keep it for information updates but just now Completely disappoionted with this company’s Customer Service response to my account being “cancelled” without notifying me. Apparently possible “Fraud Alert” activity on my bank card caused the card to be pulled and I waited for a new card to be issued – ITAC was not able to run the card for charges and they silently dropped me –no notice. Seems a Credit Monitoring Company would get the concept of a credit bank card being cancelled due to Fraud. They claimed to have sent a letter to my P.O Box during December Holiday time which I never received – no request for a new payment card – nothing. Just spoke to their Customer Service rep and she in one breath told me I was cancelled and unable to re-enroll as they are not taking on any new customers….”but we thank you for your membership”….They recommended Costco Website for Identity Guard?? moving on…..

    I received this service free thru TD Bank because their system was hacked and my account number was compromised. The services were ok considering that I didn’t pay for it. If the reports were more detailed like the ones you get annually I would pay for it. I did like the updates when something changed on my report however.

    It should not be legal for them to pursue me for a watchdog fee for a dead person’s credit card. The bill only said to pay by credit card that doesn’t belong to me because I don’t have one. Why don’t they tell me what to do to resolve the matter and close the account.
