Staff Squared, a solution from a company called Atlas, was released in 2012. Atlas, however, has been in business since 2007. Staff Squared powers human resources solutions for companies. With it, it is possible to track all members within an organization, set goals, and communicate and share documents. We found that it integrates with Google Calendar and Outlook to manage all the employees in your company.

Staff Squared lets companies set goals and objectives that keeps staff in the loop. These goals can be individualized for each member of your company. Staff are frequently reminded when they have open goals. After a while, your staff will start updating their own goals, letting the manager track their progress on specific tasks, as well as keeping track of salaries and timecards.

As with some of the companies in the industry that we reviewed, Kin HR was developed to help a company better do its approach to HR. Whereas The Applicant Manager was designed to help its parent company better hire for its clients, Kin HR was a necessity of We Are Mammoth Consulting needing to grow. Kin HR was originally designed in 2012 to help We Are Mammoth better get employees into the company with streamlined onboarding. We found that Kin HR doesn’t necessarily help you with the hiring process. However, Kin HR helps you save money by keeping your employees in the system when they are hired.

Kin HR offers several features for your company. These include a robust employee directory, performance goals for your organization, and more.

Sentric HR has been in business for 20 years. The company was started in 1994 as a regional services bureau, providing the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, and other companies in the area with payroll and HR services. The customer base of the company includes thousands. The company is currently in the process of expanding and has regional offices in Huntington Beach, CA and Denver, CO.

By the mid-2000’s the company was small, but profitable and stable. The company was growing at about 10 to 12 percent per year. At this time, the company decided to also include HR as part of its online solution.

The pricing option is pretty straightforward. Based upon the service level you desire, you play a flat fee per month per employee. There are some costs that are not included on the website, but we found that Sentric HR has a pretty accurate quote tool. We built a “basic” solution for our theoretical small business of 50 employees and found that we wouldn’t be paying more than $450 per month.

Zenefits is majorly shaking the HR industry with their revolutionary “free” payroll and human resources solutions. We found out that Zenefits has created an industry-changing pricing approach by charging benefits providers rather than business owners.

Parker Conrad, a major groundbreaker in companies such as Wikiinvest and SigFig, founded Zenefits in 2013. He wanted to help startups and small businesses find affordable insurance quotes and provide benefits managements in one platform. Y Combinator, a startup accelerator, was one of the big major backers of Zenefits when they first opened their doors in 2013.

Many people are noticing Zeneits. It is an all-in-one HR solution to many businesses and is one of the fastest growing HR software companies in the industry. Many customers like the ease of employee and manager access, as well as the powerful user interface and menus that make navigation easy.
