ADP is a full service company that offers Human Resource management solutions in the largest variety of management areas. They offer support with Human Capital Management, Payroll Services, Talent Management, HR Management, Health Care Reform Management, Benefits Administration, Time and Attendance, HR Business Process Outsourcing (HRBPO), Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Retirement Services, Insurance Services, Tax and Compliance and Payment Solutions.
They offer different packages based on each customer's specific business size and needs. Each package offers a different variety of services and can be customized to the company's individual needs.
ADP helps both global and national companies better align their talent with their business goals through an enhanced recruiting, development, compensation and retention and succession strategy.
Their Human Resources Management services are designed to help customers understand their human resource compliance risks and responsibilities, and proactively manage their business and personnel to lower risks and help protect their customers from litigation.
They offer customer support 24/7 with the majority of their services and offer many options to contact their support offices, including phone, email and live chat.
ADP does not fully support their mobile apps. They provide the app to each company and the company sets the parameters for how the app is used by its employees. In terms of app function it seems to work great but it appears there is a frustration by users that they cannot access all the options the app features without their employer granting access to the different features. This appears to create higher levels of frustration for users. This is usually a problem with the employer setting limitations for the app but customers find the app frustrating to use due to the limitations they are presented with.
They only offer a free trial on their payroll solutions. As one of the most comprehensive companies on the market they might benefit from offering other trials on their other, less commonly found, business solutions that customers might not be familiar with.

Customer reviews state that they would like to see ADP create a more integrated system. There are various numbers to call for different problems within the one service making it hard to get through to the correct people. Customers complain about having to call one number for tax purposes, another number for hours, another number for regular payroll, another number for customer service... etc. There is not one consolidated helpful department to resolve issues and customers often complain about feeling like they are getting the "run around".
ADP is not recommended by customers for small businesses as they tend to have regional offices that are sometimes not as responsive to the fast paced needs of small businesses. In addition, ADP tends to be a bit more costly.
ADP does not support, or maintain, all internet browsers. It works better with some as opposed to others and customers need to take this into consideration before taking on their services.

ADP outsources their customer service to the Philippines, India and who knows. They have departmentalized the company so departments have access to only part of customer account information. Errors and changes in my experience are generally not correctly changed on the first attempt but compounded by additional errors by the ADP reps. It is disconcerting to see numerous debits and credits from our firm account that still due not accurately reflect the payroll transactions. One example; a change in direct deposit. The ADP rep (from the Philippines) had a real check generated, a direct deposit to the old account, a direct deposit to the new account and numerous debits and credits to our payroll account for the checks and taxes which did not in the end add up correctly. Another example, we voided 2 checks for 2 wks pay and reissued 2 checks for 1 wk pay. Debits and credits never reconciled correctly. Another example, a change in 401k withholding - put in as a 401k loan. Debits and credit also did not reconcile - no credit for change in taxes was issued in the bank account.
My company uses ADP, and I have had so many issues with it. First of all, it seems like I can never log in to the system. There have also been so many times when my hours were messed up after I put them in. We’ve also had issues with the payments actually being made. If I were to choose, we wouldn’t be using this system.
This app is a piece of junk. Login is always a problem. Even when used the correct password that has been used many times to log in, i would get locked out. Password reset is a joke, because it keeps asking questions you never chose. Mobile app at times decides it wants to not use finger scan. The web ui doesn't even let you login period.
