The mobile app is full-featured and easily navigated without being too much for the smaller screens of smart phones or 7" Android tablets or the iPad Mini. The app runs well in tests on the few devices checked (Android smart phone, Android Tablet, iPod Touch and iPad) without crashing or being slow. Agoda.com also offers a Windows app for Windows devices.
At first glance, Agoda.com's website is a bit intimidating with all of their offerings and information. The navigation is straight forward for visitors and the information is presented through various pages.
For those who do not like to sign up for memberships on websites, the need to do so on Agoda.com may present concerns. The membership option is required to book a room, and for frequent travelers, singing up for a membership is a great place to track reservations as well as to accumulate rewards points redeemable for free nights in hotels affiliated with Agoda.com.
Agoda.com does not have toll-free calling and the number to contact customer service in an international number. This may preclude the benefits for many. Email support and help is available without needing to make an international call.
For those wanting a more complete package, including airfare, car rental and hotel, they might be better served by a different site offering these packages as well.
They cancelled four of my hotel reservations in Japan without notifying us, resulting in needing to rebook hotel rooms at full room rate. They refused to reimburse the $1500 we had to pay for our rooms. There customer service is very unprofessional . We received a very rude phone call from this company. We will NEVER use this company again, and encourage everyone to avoid this company at all cost.
