Horrible company. They will sell a warranty that will not cover anything but collect the money from you and by the time you need to use the warranty us to late to get your money back. The only reason why the reviews look good here is because they get their staff to put on fake reviews.

This company are thieves. We canceled immediately when they lied to us, and then they withheld our check for almost a month and paid us back over $100 less than we paid, even though we were not allowed to receive any services during the first month. They also delayed my cancellation request so that they could pay me back less.

I bought a policy and canceled less than 30 days and before service period begins. I didn’t receive a full refund (now I see why they are soo aggressive solicitating payment). Make sure you read negative reviews the content is true. This company operates like an off shore company frauding Americans!

They state they have right to request 3 years maintenance records knowing you are new to home and can't. Not a requirement for payment. They choose to do this to avoid paying repairs . Same with everyone. Won't pay high repair bills.

This company is horrible. they sent out an unlicensed plumber to my mother's house in January. She had to call another plumber to complete the repair and she is still waiting for Select Home Warranty to reimburse her. An email was sent several days ago to the billing department and we have not had any response from them.

My A/C went out and I contacted Select who then sent out a Technician who supplied a report of the problem. My Contact does not cover Freon leaks. The report supplied by the Technician said that he could not find any leaks, but my claim was denied because of a Freon leak. I just decided to contact a Lawyer.

SELECT HOME WARRANTY IS A SCAM. OUR COMPANY SEEN MULTIPLE CUSTOMERS FOR THEM AND NOT ONE CUSTOMERS REPAIRS WERE EVER APPROVED AND NOT TO MENTION WE WOULD HAVE TO CALL ON A DAILY BASIS TO GET UPDATED INFORMATION ON OUR CUSTOMERS. THEY HAVE NOT PAID OUR COMPANY OR CONTACTED CUSTOMERS THAT ARE STILL WAITING FOR APPROVAL ON THEIR REPAIRS.

Awful!!! I was ripped off. Just about every contractor they referred me to refused to work because the warranty company owed them money and refused to pay. Another contractor insisted I needed work that I didn't really need. They got me for 2-3 months of service money that they did not earn!! I was scammed!!

I am a new customer. I called to register a claim for a broken washer. After 3 days, they called me back to say they couldn't find anyone to fix it, so gave me permission to find someone on my own. This way, I have to pay the repairman and wait 30 days to get my money back. I am not impressed, so far.

We got Select home warranty when we purchase our home. About a month later we had problems with our refrigerator and A/C and they said we had to wait 3 months before they can service anything which that didn't make sense if we had paid for that service as soon as we purchase the house. We ended up terminating our service with them because they were not willing to help at all. Very bad customer service and really bad communication between them.
