I called for plumbing service and they told me that they don't have a contractor in my area and I need to find it by myself. I got one and the service is evaluated by Select Warranty team and they rejected my claim and would not like to reimburse any charge. You really got what you paid for. Go for another companies please if you are a Florida client.

I bought the warranty when I purchased the property I asked since this is my first time with this company I don't know about the house they said no problem and I paid for a 15 month policy now 8 months later the fan motor on the A/C unit goes out i file a claim the technician comes out inspect the unit said it was normal wear and tear but they won't fix the unit because I don't have 3 years of service records what a rip off this is exactly what I asked when I purchased the policy and they won't let you cancel it either Bad service all around

When I first got to talk talk to the rep Chase R he was very thorough and convincing. I was happy with the deal that I got. I now have a claim and am having difficulties! If I had known it was going to take 2 weeks or more to get my ac/heat pump fixed I would have gone with America's Home Shield like I had planned! Chase R convinced me that Select Home Warranty had the most techs in my area than any one else.

They are total scammers who take your money and do not pay for anything! $429 for a policy, put a claim on my air conditioner, they refused to pay a dime. II then cancelled my policy, and still waiting for the check 3 weeks later. I called them, now I have to have a form mailed to me to fill out to get a refund. What a joke! They never told me that 3 weeks ago. They are delaying on purpose to send a refund, absolutely the worst customer service ever! DO NOT BUY A POLICY FROM THEM>

ZERO STARS! These people are the worst and lied to us!!!! They just only want your money. Completely unorganized and complete scammers!!! We are dropping our warranty with them, getting our full refund and going to another company ASAP. We still didn’t get our issues fixed and they scammed us out of money. They haven’t even called us back like they keep telling us they would. Complete waste of time and money! Please be very careful with these people as they will completely lie to you and then not help you!

This company is not easy to process claim also agents will tell you to go ahead and replace appliances and give prorated rate reimbursement but that’s not how it works. They do not like to have email traffic to avoid DOCUMENTATIONS. Very dishonest company. The contractor told me that they are not coming out unless I can call select warranty and they can guarantee payment to the contractor.

Salesman was great, price was good but as soon as we had a problem and needed to use policy, it was all downhill from there. Customer service is overseas, no way to talk with anyone for answers, a/c broke on 8\13, case opened on 8/15, they have talked with the a/c tech 3 times, requested info and pictures in email, have received all information and today is 8/26 and still no answer and no one to talk with that knows why.

I had a claim. Claims could not get me a plumber, for a leaking hot water heater, for four days. When the finally got a plumber out, I Paid the $45 service charge, and the plumbers waited on the phone for SHW authorization for an hour and were going to just leave . Claim told me to go ahead and pay the plumber myself and that SHW would reimburse me. I paid as I was told to, and SHW (Supervisor JERMEL) refuses to return any calls and has NOT REFUNDED MY MONEY! Its a horrible company with deceptive practices, and they are NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORD OR PROMISES!

This company is trash. They look for every reason NOT to repair or replace your unit. And even after going through Better Business Bureau, they were unsuccessful in helping me get a refund of my money they owe me. Please stay away from this company. They are scams and frauds. They outsource all their employees to Philippines and they will spend hours and hours arguing with you about why they will not repair or replace your unit. A total nightmare. Never before have I had this much trouble from a supposed company. Please do NOT give them your money! You will lose it!

SCAM, call service contractor provided by Select and was told they don’t do work for this company because they do not pay for repairs done. Select says you are covered from the moment you make first payment but can not file a claim after 30 days. I filed a claim after 50 day’s and was told that coverage starts 30 after initial payment and claim have to be made 60 days after first payment. Stay away from this company
