well we had a bad experience 2 weeks ago I called on 12/6 to report a leak next to light fixture kitchen ceiling, so they said they would send someone out on the 12/10 well then they text my husband saying they were going to reschedule on 12/16 well now I have 2 leaks and a bubble with water we had to pop then today they text my husband and said they would reschedule on the 12/20 he got upset has health problems called and spoke to a nice gentleman and told him what was going on and was not happy with service this young man was nice enough to help us and someone text my husband and they will finally be here on 12/17 We hope.

The processing of a claim is satisfactory in terms of timing and response. Opening of a claim is a straightforward process and self-explanatory. Customer Service reps are helpful and knowledgeable. I was a bit disappointed with initial determination that my claim had been denied, but sub-subsequent dealing with the Case Manager proved to be satisfactory.

Agents are informative and friendly.. Took my claim information and began the process in a timely manner. However, I received a notice via email that there is apparently an issue with authorized service agents as none have yet to respond. I was provided with an option to contact a service agent on my own. However, I have opted to let Choice deal with service agents.

Cold weather came and our furnace stopped working . I called choice and requested help ASAP. A service man called the Sam day and came over to diagnose the problem . He found the problem , and 1 hour later the house was warm !

I went on vacation for the holidays and both my pumps went out on my pool. We called Saturday and the Technician came out Monday. The pumps went bad. Choice Home warranty covered both of these pumps no questions asked!! That is great service!! I highly recommend Choice Home Warranty for your Home

Always be sure to use one of Choices technicians. I used one of my own one time and they wouldn't pay the claim. Even though they had no one who could come out in a timely manner and my technician fulfilled all of their requirements including calling them immediately after the service was performed. Aside from that I have no problems with Choice.

The tech was great! My microwave was deemed it would be best to replace it and I would receive an e gift card from Lowes for $191. So I checked what was available at that price. Not 1 over the range microwave for less than $229. not counting tax or installation! I was expecting to pay a little to replace the unit. not having to pay out of pocket another $200 + to get a lesser unit and install costs. Buyer beware!

Service call was immediate, technician was thorough, found the problem immediately, will return with the needed parts in a few days, but found another problem I was unaware of and will order parts for that as well. Fixed my leaking washer temporarily and assured me it was safe to use in the interim. Happy as a clam with CHOICE!

Just had my first service call. Am concerned about the extra step in your process (compared to the previous home warranty I had) that requires the initial technician to send in a recommendation for your review, and the resultant delay in getting the problem actually fixed. It was no big deal in this particular instance, but could be a major issue on more of an emergency repair. Could be a game-changer for me... I'm contemplating going back to the other provider.

I had a leaking garbage disposal and went to the website and followed the instructions. I got a response within the hour and had a serviceman at my home shortly afterword. He was friendly and helpful. He replaced the disposal and went on his way. Very nice person. I am impressed with Choice Home Warranty.

CHW does respond quickly when service is requested. My concern is they instruct the technicians to replace or repair what part is required with the cheapest part possible. While I don't expect them to replace a part with the most expensive part available i do expect a part to be replaced with something similar to what they are replacing. They recently replaced a indoor thermostat that was programmable and they wanted to replace it with the cheapest thermostat they could find or I had to pay $250 for a similar thermostat. So I went to home depot and had to purchase a replacement. The upgraded thermostat I purchased cost $89 but the technician wanted to charge $250

I filed claim on 6-16-22 about two toilets running. Apparently CHW had problems obtaining a technician. I contacted CHW via emails three times before they finally had a tech accept the claim on 6-29-22. The technician contacted us on 6-29 to verify the appointment. They came within the timeframe and was able to complete the repairs in a timely manner. Only problem I had was the time from filing claim till a technician accepting the claim.

I was unsure about a home warranty but I received it from a home purchase. Well I couldn’t be happier. They re-Keyed the house, they fixed/replaced two broken garage door motors, they are reviewing the pool pump and the furnace right now. The claims process is simple and I’m an only out the small deductible. I am going to renew for next year.

We had another company and they kept raising their price every time we went to renew. We signed up with choice 3 years ago and they kept their word that if we renewed before expiration, the price, plan and deductible would remain the same. They also had a lower deductible.

After I received the phone call (a recording) saying that the decision had been made to replace my built in microwave, the email link for starting the replacement process immediately went to a pop-up offering me some money in lieu of continuing the process. There was NO explanation of the context or ramifications. Then, when I declined the pop-up, I was asked to explain why I was requesting MORE MONEY. Again, there was NO explanation of the context or ramifications. I think both of these steps could have been handled better on your part.

I love having a Choice Home Warranty! I spent more money up front by buying a 5 year contract. That makes my service call fee only $45.00. I have just used it for an electrician and an HVAC repair and a plumber. I have already paid for the policy! However, I do not recommend it for rental property unless you manage the property yourself. Trying to have a property manager make a claim has not worked well.

I could not believe how quick my claim was handle and job completed (less then 10 hours from the call the job was completed. The company they sent, the men were excellent. they left a spit shine bathroom. I felt as if I had called in Maid service. keep that company. PEOPLE HOME CHOICE IS THE WAY TO GO.

My A/C stopped cooling but the unit continued to run. I requested service via the website at 12:30 p.m. Confirmation of the requested service was received within 30 minutes. A repairman was dispatched and had the condenser replaced and A/C running by 2:30 p.m. This was the fastest repair service I ever received. I'm very pleased.

With this last problem, I had to call 3 days in a row to find out that the service company did not want to file their report with Choice. The Choice people all followed through, trying to get the company to file the report. They finally gave up and sent me another repair company at no charge.

I was on my way to church on Sunday morning when my garage door would not close. I called Choice Warranty and had an appointment for the next day. The technician called when he was 45 minutes away. Very prompt and fixed it. Even adjusted the brackets that holds the sensors so I won't knock them out of line when backing out of my garage.
