My water heater broke December 26th. Leaking water and called Choice Home Warranty. To no avail, my pleas for help from Choice Home to expedite and prioritize my claim went unanswered and unconcerned. This to me is not customer service. I even asked to speak to a supervisor and was told 24 to 48 hours I may get a call back.

Heating system died 6 weeks ago. They could not find a contractor and told us to find our own and that we would be reimbursed for the cost. We did and they wanted proof with photos and diagnosis that our company said had high levels of CO2 emissions and was a fire hazard from a crack in the manifold. They sent out their own man who confirmed the hazzard. Now they denied the claim because we had the work done before they got around to approving it. Supposed tp have a mediation call yesterday at 1:45. Never called. Now we have to sue.

Choice Home Warranty needs be review their contractors that they are licensing to enter the customer’s home. Some are simply crooks posing as professionals. They collect the service fee from the customer and say they are getting parts and do not return. It’s totally unacceptable. My most recent contractor was excellent compared with the previous five.

I have been waiting to get my pool Heater repaired since January. The original tech Aussi Pools never came back to repair the Heater after many follow up calls. And I understand they were paid $1200. By CHW. I called CHW 2 weeks ago and you entered a new claim. I have not yet heard from a Tech to come out to repair the pool heater. When can I expect this issue resolved.

Horrible, I spent over $3500 for all this coverage to make claims and them not cover it. The customer service is only sweet and work with you as long as you are buying something. But rude and "that's not my job", "I can't do that" when placing a claim. I am cancelling my plan and heading over to Old Republic, I have been in property management for YEARS and Old Republic always proves themselves to be the best. I do not know what I was even thinking giving this low budget company a chance.

Horrible company! Sent incompetent workers TWICE that didn't fix the problem and left my yard a mess. Then couldn’t find anyone to come fix the problem. Had to hire on my own and get reimbursed. Cost out of my pocket was $2800, they said I qualify for $500 reimbursement. **Tell me you don't have anyone to fix my Septic pump for 6 wks then only give me $500 to cover reimbursement???** Such a scam!! Stay away from this company!!!

I got screwed on coverage for a bad AC compressor. I started a claim in July and finally just had to get it replaced on my own dime after getting no help from choice home warranty after 2 months. When they finally got around to approving my claim, I lost all coverage since I went ahead and had the issue fixed myself. I guess they just wait you out until you get it down yourself before sticking it in your ass with no lube.

Really like the local guy I had to call that was not from Choice. Choice Home Warranty had 2 weeks to arrange a tech and did nothing. So far your service is terrible. I tried to call to get techs in this area and was told that they could not give me the technician for the area and they also would not let me talk to dispatch. Your customer service so far is poor!!!

I am so disappointed with my current repair. My refrigerater/freezer stopped cooling and freezing. The repair service came out quickly the next day which was Friday. I was told the part needed to be ordered and would take 3-5 business days. I called CHW and was told they couldn't do anything to speed it up. Meanwhile it is now the following Thursday and still no part. Would any of you all like to be a week with no freezer and a cool at best refrigerater?? CHW has done nothing to speed up the process and seem to have no compassion for my problem. I do not recommend them.

The technician was excellent. It was not a Choice employee. I would not recommend this company as it has very poor customer service, is unresponsive and does not replace broken, unrepairable appliances. It does offer less than 40% of the cost to replace appliances and does not pay for delivery or installation . They also have a very poor pool of service people to call on, at least in the West, and therefore finding repair people and having to have them contact a very unresponsive company adds even more layers of difficulty to getting repairs and replacements.

I had a problem with my heating unit and as per technician inside motor small bracket broken. It is simple wear & tear and can be fix with only $70 but choice consultant over the phone pressurizing technician which I had over heard and asked what is the reason for it. He is telling again and again that "I don't know" as it was inside the motor and no external items are there. Finally Choice declined and said this is not a wear & tear. Highly highly unprofessional and manipulator. Finally same technician fixed for just few $$ extra....

we have not had good service because CHW does not have service people who could repair our covered hot tub and pool. technician. Then 2 different companies accept the posted repair. Had a date and time. They did not call or show up. You offer us a solution of finding our own People just don’t want to work with home warranty companies. We were out the cost of the policy plus the entire repair of the appliance. CHW did not offer to cover any of the cost. On 2 calls CHW came out and stated, we can’t repair it because it’s too old, took the service call fee, then left.

My only concern is that it takes a while for them to get some one out to make repairs. I waited around three weeks to get the ice maker in my refrigerator repaired. Very slow service has been my experience.

The technician is professional and thorough. The warranty service is terrible. our furnace doesn't work and a part is not available for several days which causes an issues as we live in Illinois and the temperature is dropping to 20 degrees at night and is 30 degrees during the day. The interior of the house is dropping into the 40's. This is unacceptable. We have paid a lot of money for the warranty service and Choice Warranty refuses to replace the furnace.

Sometimes they send good people and fix things. My refrigerator went out. They sent a man who said it would cost $1200 and Choice will not pay but would be replacing my refrigerator. . Choice offered me $900+ for a GE MONOGRAM, STAINLESS With Ice and water through the door. I would never recommend the company and am changing as we speak. I am waiting on a technician to fix leaky faucets. They have told me to get my own, but I am really not confident that they will pay. Good luck.

I had to get the attorney general's office to aide I getting help from choice. Even after all that they tried to deny the fix for the heater. The tech who eventually fixed it was fantastic and got the heat on but it took over two weeks to get one to my home

I had just moved in the house in September of 2015 and had the AC checked out with my quarterly service and you denied getting the AC repaired. I believe you only repaired it this time because my contract was expiring and the problem was minor.
