I hate the fact that when an issue is brought instead of correcting the problem Choice likes to put band aids on problems. That's not how things should work. Especially as home owners dealing with issues. That's is the whole purpose of having the warranty. It's now pointless to me and I won't be renewing my warranty. It's always feels like jumping through hops and the fact you have to wait forever to get a tech out is crazy to me.

The plumber came took photos of the repair needed. The drainpipe that is hooked to the pipe coming out of the was was deteriorated and leaking bad. I just disconnected the section from the sink drain and placed it in the sink. The facet itself is disintegrating from the hard water, which is my assumption. All this was here when we bought this house. We have never had any problems til now. I don’t understand how this is not considered ordinary wear and tear!

When I was sold this warranty I was told that ALL interaction would be with a US Based customer service, NOT true. I spoke with a supervisor on the phone and when talking to her I could barely hear her and let her know that. Her response was NOTHING I can do about that! Trying to speak to someone that understands ENGLISH IN the US for claims in nearly impossible.

I disliked the fact I was told we would have someone out within 24 when sold my plan. It was 3 days later. I didn't like the fact they gave me a full 8 hour window of when they would be there and I had to cancel 2 important appointments. Lastly I was never told I would have to use a lowes gift card for replacements that is ridiculous. It's not even sent in a rush. I could be without a washer for another 30 days. I will never choose another choice warranty once mine is up.

When I purchased my plan I asked if there were any hidden expenses or things that would not be covered. I was told nothing is hidden we are covered. Well today we found out that the AC would not be covered due to its age. So instead of my 75 co-pay I am out 250 dollars. Thanks for nothing. My plan expires this year and I will not renew. You take my money but not my claim. I feel like I have been conned.

I have a microwave oven stack built in , they can't fix the microwave so they are giving me 650.00 or so. I don't have the money to buy a 2700 unit so that isn't much help. I could buy one cheaper than that at a local merchan but they only choice they give you for payout for the claim is a Lowes gift card. So be very careful choosing this company to be your home owners warranty.

Unfortunately this company does not deserve any star. Looks like this a scam. I was trying to fix an AC unit. Claim number - #195394188. They promised to send a contractor but contractor didn’t show up on scheduled day/ time. I had same experience 3 times over 3 weeks. This is an organized scam. Stay away from this company if you don’t want to waist your money.

Your appointment system could be improved. The system never gave an approximate time of arrival. I had to call several times on the day of my appointment to see approximately when the technician would arrive. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. isn't a block of time, that is an entire day.

Choice Home Warranty has been a great service provider in the past, unfortunately when our HVAC compressor went out, they required almost 50% of the replacement cost. Rather than reimburse us for their portion of the standard equipment compressor cost they refused to pay anything to us for the upgraded complete new system we decided to install. Other home warranty services that we have known of do offer some monetary incentives toward an upgraded replacement, so why wouldn’t Choice Home Warranty do the same knowing a new system is less likely to incur maintenance calls in the near future?

I wish someone would get my a/c working correctly. 4 different work orders so far since September last year. 2 businesses putting in a new unit and here we are in May of 2023 and after 2 heart attacks and $3100, I still don't have a correctly functioning a/c unit. Thermostat set for 72 and it's over 80 in my house in May!!! I'd like to live past the summer of 2023!

If I could rate this company at negative stars I would. The only good thing was that they ordered the wrong Hot Water tank and paid for a better quality Hot Water Tank. They did not cover the entire cost of replacing the tank and it cost me over $700 on top of the $85 service call fee and the $60 a month I was paying monthly for the coverage. Biggest scam going.

J&R I had complained about and your company was to place them on the do not use list. A future problem in my Home happens and the lady I spoke with in the phone had no documentation of my complaint and sent the same company out. The tech forgot to hookup my dishwasher hose and I had water coming out under the sink and floor. This is one example of the things the company says they fixed but caused more problems in my house.

Hot water heater went out took 5 days before they found a co to look at it. Co they revered be to was red flaged by BBB. So they told me to get my own co i pefered to get a new hot water heater from. Had a new water heater installed and Choic refused to pay for the water heater. Still fighting with them to pay something on water heater. Don't trust them at all!! C Viner

I have a leaking open in my basement and put in a service request on November2, 2022, paid the deductible and it's still not fixed as of today may 10, 2023! I've repeatedly called and had several plumbers out here and they won't authorize the repair even though it states in my contract they will fix it! FED UP!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I have a dryer with a small crack drum inside. A Contractor from IHN Professional said the “Drum” needed to be replaced. Now, CHW says they won’t cover the claim b/c of caused damage! What in the heck is the warranty for? Due to wear & tear its damaged. I’m so fed up with these Home Warranty Companies……Can’t ever recommend them again!!! We/nobody caused any damage to a dryer drum, All Wear & Tear. Terrible Customer Service to a Veteran

In a word, this company sucks. They are rude. They sold me a home warranty and when I needed service, they wouldn't cover some of the issues. So, a repair I ordered which should have cost me the service fee cost me almost $500 to get the work done. And when I complained, they were no longer the friendly company that welcomed me, but they became this rude, argumentative group that formed a circle to protect their people. I will say that they refunded the balance of my contract very quickly.
