The reason I gave low marks because choice warranty on my last claim have been most inconsiderate toward my family and me. We have been without a clothe washer for a month or so. We have call multiple times and the only thing they say is “ waiting on tech to give them the serial number”. How hard is it to get a serial number . We tried giving it to them but would not take it. .. my wife is having go to a laundry mat to wash clothing, which is so hard and inconvenient. It will be hard for choice warranty to gain my trust again!!

What I don’t like, the warranty isn’t all you guys try to make it out to be!!!! Then you find people that’s fits your interest best and not the customers!!! I just had a new replacement unit Wednesday and when I got home Thursday night from work, the pipes on the outside leading up to the unit is frozen and I’m right back where I started,,in a hot home!!!! I paid 1,550 just to be back in the whole!!! This sucks!!!! So why have warranty when it only works for the company and not the people

I was not happy with my first service call and left my review with I believe was Trust Pilot. It was a link that was sent to me after that visit. Obviously your company did not see it. I did call after the visit and talked to someone about it and they were not nice, had an attitude problem.

Poor customer service response to getting help with electrical problems. I have to do all the work. Ten weeks with half power in house. Ac not working because of power panel problem. No contractors provided to do repairs.

We had our A/C down for 3 weeks in Texas with over 100F every day. At the end Choice finally decided to decline to do anything because, according to them, the failure was not caused by “normal wear and tear”. They say that they are used to see issues like mine after 15 years, but my unit is “only” 9 year old. Therefore the failure is considered “premature” and not covered!

I replaced a range top stove. I paid almost $2,000 for the replacement. I was given an $800 credit for Lowe's. I was told that the $800 was based on what CHW could purchase a range top stove for at wholesale. I asked if I could purchase it at wholesale. I was told no. I was not told in advance that I would not get a check which I needed to help pay for the range top stove I had purchased. It has been almost a year and I still have a $700 plus balance on the credit voucher.

Something has changed at this company in 2023. I use to get great customer service and repairs were done without hassles. Now I get disrespect from customer service and over talking me when I’m trying to explain the problem. A number of customer reps were hard to understand. Repair was denied before they understood what the problem was. I’m thinking of cancelling my Choice Home Warranty . Not happy !

Hello - I am very frustrated with the reimbursement process. My technician and I provided a plethora of information - some very irrelevant to the AC issue - and we keep being asked more questions to prolong the process. This is NOT a good , honest customer service . We expect to resolve this immediately in order to feel validated as customers who followed your protocols in good faith. Please reimburse us for the unexpected expense caused by your failure to provide us service in a timely manner. That will be the only way for us to provide a positive feedback on your company.

Our first claim! Our AC broke since Saturday, the technician came today and reported the diagnostic to the company and Choice said it’s not covered because it’s not due to regular wear and tear which is not true. 4 days without AC and who knows how much longer we’ll have to wait while we appeal. If denied again, we will cancel our policy and leave bad reviews everywear to alert people to stay away from Choice

Would give 0 stars if possible Have a GE dishwasher that has the same problem for a year and a half Choice refuses to replace it I have paid a few service fees for the same problem Parts have been replaced but it’s still loses power whenever it wants to The dishwasher has never been repaired Choice refuses to waive the service fees and also refused a refund for the two years I have left on my contract Definitely not resigning with them

When I purchased this policy I was under the impression that it would work for the property up there. How wrong I was. When I call in a repair sometimes it will get don but mostly not. Still haven't gone out there to pump the tank and check the front bathroom. Then when they said that they couldn't fix the washer they said we will replace it. They offered a minimum amount not nearly enough to replace it. I still haven't received the gift card from Lowes. Whey it that???

Ac went out I was told to find someone on my own because they didn’t have anyone in their network available, I found someone that charged $378 to fix AC that fix lasted 1 week, never got that $ back and AC broke again, I ended up getting new AC on my own them was told I would not end up getting my $378 back, I cancelled Choice, they will do everything to not pay, my wife has a lot of health issues and it got to 99 degrees inside house and of course I was doing everything I could for her and our comfort, apparently a lot of these “warranty co’s” are like that, don’t waste your money.

Truly dislike the amount of time it to receive a Lowe's gift certificate for my dryer in the amount of$ 335 on what planet can you buy a dryer for $335 I will have to put money to it then pay for installment then pay for removal so your mission statement is untrue that if you can't repair it choice home warranty will replace it not true your statement should say we partially replace any appliance you're untruthful and if I had read all your customers comments would have thought twice maybe even three times I would have never dealt with your BS company truly unsatisfied customer

I have been dealing with no air conditioning for the last 4 MONTHS while your company finds every possible way to delay covering a repair. I have called and emailed. I have sent copies of an estimate. Along with the bill I paid out of pocket and NOTHING! I have spoken with several supervisors and nothing has been done. My home has been in the 90s inside. Unacceptable! If only my service appointment moved as quickly as my payment for another year was processed. Not at all happy with this disregard of our issues.

Bad faith actors. Paid in full for 3 years. Forced to wait 30 days for policy to work. Called in for a service appointment. Sent someone out 13 days later (the promise is 24-48 hours for the tech to be in the home). Decided the issue was “pre-existing”. Warning to reader: anything installed in your home prior to the policy start date is at risk for “pre-existing”. Offered no assistance at all. Whatsoever. Wouldn’t offer complete refund despite the fact that they provided no value whatsoever. Do not buy from this fraudulent company.

My washer machine stopped working and Choice Home Warranty gave me a voucher for $343.00 to buy a washer machine. Be realistic, one can not purchase a washer machine for $343.00. I am a senior adult and I will have the cost of delivery and installing the washer machine. This company is very disappointed me big time. I would not recommend for anyone to enroll in the Choice Home Warranty.

You sent me a technician, who was a nice guy and did a good job, but he showed up in his personal vehicle and I had to pay somebody over the phone in the Philippines. I don't feel comfortable with your cost saving methods. You are not what you advertised. Then you found a way to not cover one of my issues. just like all the other companies.

Not sure who is giving CHW a 5 stars. As a contractor here in Arizona, We have worked for CHW for the entire 2022 and they did not pay us for our approved invoices. They are keep giving us a run around, they put our account on hold and now after an entire year from the date of hold, they are still dragging their feet. These people are crooks. Stay away from them as a customer and as a contractor because they will steel money from you. Now you know.

Customer service is AWFUL. They make it almost impossible to get a claim approved. they are rude. They do not give complete information causing you to call back over and over. I did not renew, I purchased a warranty from another company instead.
