They deceive the customers, advertising that they are very easy going and replace the items which could not be repaired which is a lie. They do not inform the customers before they purchase the warranty about the items that are not covered especially when A/C unit is in question.

I have had Choice warranty for a number of years and have had 3 claims. First settlement offer is ridiculously low, always a 15-day delay in getting to talk to a claims manager. final offer is never enough to repair or replace the failed item. Would not renew or purchase again.

Their reimbursement offer for a replacement dishwasher was an unrealistic amount. They could not adequately explain their offer, and I felt like it was an intentional low ball offer designed to make me fight them for a reasonable reimbursement. They never did resolve my claim.

For an AC repair, we were charged a flat $300. Apparently Choice paid nothing. Repairman said the $300 we paid him was all he would receive for the job. Makes me wonder why we are paying Choice for a home warranty

I explained I had a leak and didn't know where it was. I knew I had one because I had a high water bill. I asked for a leak detector to be sent out. They refused. So they knew where the leak was when the plumber who came out did not. I found it kind of amazing they could figure it out 3000 miles away.

Communication is not their strong point. Every time I call I have to talk to a new person who I have to explain everything to all over again. We have not had air for over a month due to this company and ordering an incorrect part. We are not happy and will not renew this contract nor recommend it to anyone else.

Customer service reps are dishonest. They tell you one thing verbally then put something else in the notes. They look for any minor reason to deny your claims. DO NOT BUY unless you have new stuff that needs coverage or they will definitely deny your claim. They also have way too many requests for reviews!

It is almost impossible for me to contact "a person". When a person is contacted or on the line you ask a question then automatic transfer or on hold the music is back on. Nothing is said of the transfer or why am being placed on hold. Very bad customer service representatives or very bad training .

I've had a horrible experience with this company. We tried to use our warranty and they decided not to pay us in full and instead offered us a compromise that wasn't even part of their contract we signed. They offered us $250 on a $1,000 claim, so we obviously didn't accept that.
