Choice simply escaped to repair my HVAC-I had long call with case manger but she is not ready to help, The issue was with a motor which is causing the machine to fail-choicehomewarranty gave a pathetic response saying they won't cover it as this is not wear and tear-though it is, not only choice their repairs too didn't respond me.

They only cover normal wear and tear and there is not much normal wear and tear on a 12 yr old house. They then charged me $50 cancelation fee, then $80 for the 2 months that I had the policy, then the cost of what they paid the electrician's work. So, ultimately they did not cover any of what needed to be done.

They refused to pay for plumbing work a 3rd time when it was their own contractors they sent out to use putty on busted pipes that were still underwater. Wont pay for a water heater that I needed for my family size. Just put in a water heater that was was fine for a family of 2

you've used every excuse to not pay a claim. the one tech you send to fix my refrigator destored the ice maker, now i have to repair it myself.My centeral vac you said you don't cover the hoses. how can you have a central vac without hoses? half the time you couldn't find a tech to work on my problem and i ended up having to do the work.

They DONOT honor their own warranty. If they have to fix a high end appliance and can't/won't fix it they will offer you a third of the amount to replace it. This have happened to me with them twice. It takes too long for them to diagnose and replace. Which means you have someone coming in to your home twice during Covid-19.

Next tech, from another company that WAS professional, fixed problem by replacing the motor; which is what should've done the first time! If we don't get our credit we will switching back to DTE.

When I tried to find out the part needed, neither they or the service tech would tell me what part was needed. A little shady to me.
