Every claim I have submitted has been has been a problem. First of all the vendors sent to my house have negative comments about working with Choice. Second, obtaining parts has taken days. Thirdly, the fine print does not cover the parts I needed. For example, my well pressure switch was defective. Not covered. I paid extra for coverage of my well & other exterior items. Anything with my well is not covered. The pump, switches etc. My hot tub had a bad control module, not covered.

They will not answer calls or call back when messages are left. The warranty I bought states air conditioning upgrade...I had to file a claim and they are trying to do the cheapest and not even replace with similar quality items.

At the time, I thought that Choice would be the best because they kept saying if they can’t fix it, they will replace it but that is not true. They couldn’t fix my refrigerator and they wanted offer me half the value, which is not replacing it. That is false advertising.

They are hiring contractors that aren’t following up they way they should. I had to wait a day and a half to get a technician late on a Friday night. They haven’t helped me with my claims and I was not reimbursed for my hot water heater.

Their technicians fixing things are inexperienced. The amount of money they allot for parts and services doesn’t typically cover the value of what it s worth if you need to replace items but they are the cheapest company.

Because of the delay in taking care of my air condition I won’t recommend them. It is taking over a month to get resolved. After waiting for 2 more weeks just to get the parts in, they finally completed my ac. I filed the claim on May 4th and it got repaired on June 29th. They refused to do the proper testing to find the leak until I agreed to pay $200 out of pocket. Then they took forever to approve the repair after doing the leak test. Then they took a couple more weeks to authorize and get the parts. What a nightmare.

We’ve only had one experience and that wasn’t very positive enough for paying forty something dollars a month. I was really tired of American Home Shield when I switched to Choice but they would have covered the washing machine and Choice did not and that was a very first claim. We are disappointed because we are seniors and retired and have limited income.

They were the number one choice for realtors throughout Columbus Ohio but I have cancelled my warranty with them. I needed to use my warranty for an air conditioning issue. It took 10 days to get a repairman out to inspect my unit. When he inspected the unit, he only partially inspected it and reported back to Choice Home Warranty, and they ended up not covering my claim. The repairman so the issues were the fault of the home owner so I appealed. Their customer service is not very helpful.

Horrible company. Very rarely fix anything so I typically have to pay a $60 call fee for nothing and have to pay out of pocket to fix the issue myself. Not to mention the almost $50/month I pay CHW. They were supposed to send me $200 for part of my water heater replacement. That was in January, it is now June and I’m STILL waiting on that check to come in. I have called and left message with my case worker Glendalys Alvarez as well as emailed her multiple times. Still no check or call back. Hate this company and will discourage anyone from signing up with them.

We needed it for our furnace and we were told furnaces aren't covered. We needed it for our kitchen sink and faucets aren't covered. Lack of coverage. There was one time we had a plumbing situation and the person came and investigated and dug a hole in the wall and just left and none of it was covered.
