A couple of months ago, it took them about six months to get a part I needed for the conditioner and then two to three weeks for someone to come over to install it. In that time me and my wife were without air conditioner on the main floor. My wife is a cancer survivor so it was very tough on her health. They kept telling me the part was ordered but it took a long time.

Choice Home Warranty has consistently turned down coverage from multiple things that have gone wrong. I had a problem with the freezer, which is overed under a separate additional payment. They sent someone out and after I paid the sixty five dollars, they informed me that the cause was mice therefore they couldn’t cover it. If you have ever had any mice, squirrels, or insects in your home, I wouldn’t even think about it.

They dispatched a HVAC person who had several bad reviews. The repair person said the repairs did not fall under the "normal wear and tear" Choice Policy. After further investigation I discovered I was overcharged, AND the tech did not repair the A/C unit. I further had a second technician who ultimately repaired the unit. CHOICE did nothing to help, no did they apologize or cover ANY of the cost. I would never get a home warranty policy as I can see that they make every effort to say that the repairs are not covered.

Two claims over 3 1/2 years and both denied - In the first claim I was offered a compromise (why offer a compromise if the denial said it was absolutely not covered?) _ The second claim was denied after initially accepting the claim - I feel Choice just denies and the sees what happens and see if they get any complaints) - Choice does not care about policyholders, only if they can avoid paying anything

I have contacted them regarding a blocked shower drain twice. I have been sent information regarding plumbers scheduled to take care of the issue. Both plumbing companies were not aware of my appointment nor did either of them have any business with Choice. So now I am still with a slow drain that I will have to have fixed with my own plumber.

The worse ever. Have been without our freezer for 6 weeks now and counting. Lied every step of the way. Finally agreed that our freezer needs to be replaced. Then they off me about half of what I need to replace it. Then they tell me it could take 4 weeks until they give me the money. I got locked into a 3 1/2 year contract (paid in full up front) and no refund.

I've had several claims denied due to baseless reasoning. I perform routine maintenance on all of my major equipment. However, there are times that they will still fail. The claims that are denied were done so based on claims that the items would not have failed if proper maintenance had been done.

They were contacted again was told someone would be out within 24 hours finally heard back five days later. Ever-present sent out there is communication problems due to language barriers

It took a little over 2 months 3 different tech companies, 4 parts and countless days off work for visits and re diagnosis trying to get my washer fixed then they finally decided on payout and I'm still waiting on my gift card to be emailed which should take no time but yet 2 weeks later and still nothing and no working washer. I've put hundreds into the laundry mat for 3 months now that I could have just bought a new washer instead of having this warrenty!

If you put pool coverage in your options how about could bring the equipment. I've had my pool for 4 years and now that the cylinder exploded in my face causing a crack in the case of the pump‚ you guys don't want to cover it? What do you cover, water???? I'm beyond angry since I added my pool so if I have something happen with the mechanics you would fix it.. shame on me. I'm looking for a new and better warranty company that has some pride in their word when it comes to fixing things. Shame on you guys!!!!
