I've been waiting on a call from a case manager and they've never called my case schedule twice now. They came out to fixed my air conditioner, the contractor they sent tried to rip me off and had to provide my own contractor. They're unreliable. Stay away.

Choice send a date for an appt and the contractor comes another day. General contractors are sent to do the work instead of a one specializing in that area. They don't do a correct repair and then you have to wait for another contractor to do the job right

My heat went out December 4th 2020. After 2 technicians coming out and diagnosing the problem and never showing back up, endless calls to customer support, and upper management. I finally got a payout on February 21 2021. I spent the holidays and the majority of winter in a family members house due to this. Their technicians are subpar as well as their customer service.

Called because air conditioner was not cooling. Serviceman came 2 days later and said I need a new fan on my unit outside. He stated it had to be replaced but Choice would not pay for it. So I had to pay a $85 dollar service fee and another $325 for parts and labor. Stupidest thing I ever heard of, will not be renewing my warranty or recommending to anyone! Total Rip Off!!

(I'm sending this rating now because I've received 4 requests to submit a rating). CHW was proficient in sending a repair person for my appliance. Based on data received, CHW chose to replace the appliance, but offered approximately 1/4 of the replacement cost. I haven't accepted the offer yet and wanted to speak with a representative. It has taken a full month - hoping/trying to discuss the matter with a case manager. I hope to have the much needed conversation in approximately 6 days. If I rated them today, the rating would be -2…but I want to be fair…so I'll need to wait.

We spent numerous hours waiting from 11am till 3 pm every time when appointment was scheduled We are very very upset and if you cannot fix the refrigerator than you have to buy us new one I've been in Real Estate for 32 years and referred your company at least 32-50 my Clients and now I experienced completely unexepytable case that will never ever refer your company to anybody!

Choice could not locate a repair company after 3 days, so I located one. The reimbursement process is too lengthy and they only partially paid for my repair. But if they'd found a company, Choice would have covered the entire repair. This is not acceptable and unfair to the customer.

CHW arbitrarily denied a covered item during a valid policy period. CHW also endangered my child's well-being by stringing us along for days in a hot house, only permitting one 15 minute conversation per day. I've never before encountered such a rapacious, dishonest and dispassionate company solely focused on profits and not remotely focused on fulfilling promises or accomplishing it's stated mission.

Because the technicians they hire are the worst of the worst because they only pay them 30 cents on the dollar. The latest technician they got for me was three days late in coming because he had to take his mother to get a card, because he had to take his grandchild somewhere and one day because he just forgot. When you finally get a technician to come, Choice doesn't cover 1/4 of the issues.

Choice dispatched a general handyman for a plumbing issue. It was misdiagnosed and Choice refused to correct their mistake. I had to pay a second fee to have a plumber come out. Plumber found a major issue with the water heater, for which we had enhanced coverage. Two licensed plumbers said the water heater needed to be replaced. Choice paid $140 for the replacement. I will never do business with them again and will warn everyone I can to never use Choice.

They failed to honor the terms of our contract and took 2 weeks to complete the repair. The agents were rude and unprofessional. Signing up for CHW was one of the dumbest things I ever did. The plumber was great, though, once the awful people at Choice approved the repair. I cannot wait to be out of this awful contract, that they don't even follow.

The first time using them on my washing machine was great, then the dishwasher is not working properly and it is so old Sears was not able to find the parts needed. Two weeks went by and heard nothing, so I called Sears and they confirmed no parts...I asked if they notified the Choice Home Warranty folks and they said no, but they will and I should here something within 24 hours...NOTHING and it has been another week! I feel like I have been dropped and it is NOT my job to chase them down for information and to move forward!
