We bought an American Home Shield home warranty with last two houses we've bought. In the first house, our problems were minor, just an appliance here or there that were broken and repaired. But in our last house, we had an American Home Shield warranty and had to have two air conditioning units replaced. They were old units, and we knew that when we bought the house, but we didn't think they'd need replaced in the first year! Until that first summer. We live in Arizona, so when an air conditioner goes out--it's URGENT. American Home Shield was great to work with and got us a repair specialist out quickly. When it was determined that the units needed to be replaced, they took care of everything, and we only had to pay a small fee. Best warranty purchase ever. You never think you need a warranty--until you do! American Home Shield was amazing to work with.

Let's start with the customer service is terrible. This warranty was $600 for the year and they sent a Electric company's out over a week later that didn't fix my outlet which is covered he's telling me it's not so I paid $125 for a company to come out just to not fix my fully issue this is crazy i want my money back

It’s not worth paying $900/yr only to be told you must pay $1600 to get your AC fix and they was for my one and only claim over. A5 year period! Just save the $900/yr. TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! I pan to cancel ASAP!
