My furnace has a cracked heat exchanger emitting carbon monoxide. I was promised a replacement system. It has been 42 days since submission of work order in January and the warranty company has not even ordered it!! It's the middle of March! This is not the contractors fault. The warranty company keeps giving me the run around and lying to me. I have been told on three occasions that it would be ordered within 24 hours and when I call back the next week it has not been ordered. If they come through I may give a little higher rating, but at this point I would not recommend them.

Every time I use it, I must make several calls to get a service person to my house. I am over charged my service fee and must fight to get back the difference. No one knows what the other person is doing, when you call, they don't know anything about previous calls that you have made about the same subject.

2-10 has never really been able to help me with my issues. The most recent time I needed to use my warranty was because the washer wasn't working. They connected me with a company that didn't show up until 7:30 pm, and then they promised to come back and repair my washer and they never did. The other time I needed to use the warranty, the same thing happened. They sent me a really bad company who messed everything up and then 2-10 never covered the damages.

Once again I am shopping around for a new home warranty because it has been very negative working with them. There is very little communication. It takes forever to get a hold of them and they’ve hung up on me several times. I’ve also been hold for more than four hours. Recently I had a dryer repair and it took over a week to get parts approved and then the contractor ordered the wrong part and it took another week to get approved for the right one. I was without a dryer for a month before the part came.

They sent someone to diagnose the problem, the second person came and diagnosed a different problem, and the third person tried to fix it and didn't. Here we are five months later and it's still not fixed. Their customer service is terrible, and I don't have the words to accurately explain how awful they are.

We've had lots of trouble getting help from people in customer service. It was near impossible to get a clear idea of what was going on from a customer service representative and got different answers from different people. Our heater went out and they gave me an incredible run around. They said what we would pay and what they would pay, but I ended up paying an extra $500 out of pocket because the people installing the heater said they had certain costs that went over the allowable amount 2-10 would cover. I will never renew with this company again because of that.

I had a leaky dishwasher and I had to wait a week for a repairman to come and when he did he said they should have sent a plumber instead and he said they would contact me but they never did. My air conditioner broke in march. I called the guy to come out. It cost me a hundred dollars and three months later it is not working again. A different guy from a different company comes out and they charge me another hundred dollars and told me it would take at least three months to get the parts. They told me they would refund me the hundred dollars but I never got it. It also took four times to get my stove repaired.

I like the ease of filing claims online but when our air conditioning went out in August in Florida, it took over a week to get everything sorted and we ended up paying for the part just to get it done because we couldn't live in our house at 90 degrees. I wish certain things like water heaters and air conditioners were moved to the priority list so people didn't have to live without hot water or AC.

The online portal is completely inefficient. You can't do anything with it besides initiate a claim. To get more information or request anything else, you must call and the wait times are way too long. Additionally, contractors have informed me that 2-10 low-balls them and doesn't pay them what they need to get the job done. That being said, I've had one successful claim (but it took wayyyy too long due to 2-10 insisting on supplying the part and then taking weeks before admitting they couldn't get it and letting the contractor do it). My second claim is in progress, but has had no updates or information provided.
