It's good to have when I need it, but it's kind of expensive. My refrigerator went out and the guy came out about three times and it took him about six months to finally give up and get me a new fridge. Customer support is good. Typically, any issues I have come down to the technicians or the people doing the work.

The person they sent to us didn't appear and then they cancelled. So we had to find alternative people. Another time when we put in a claim they they rejected it. That is the whole purpose of having insurance and I don't agree with them.

The customer service person from 2-10 was helpful and listen to my issue, the wait time to get some one was a little high. How ever the service repair company they sent to my house “Appliance Resource & Rescue appliance” is a horrible company, the technician was rude and trying to get them on the phone was a joke. And when they call you back is way out of the appropriate times to make calls back to your customers. A simple ice maker repair has now been an almost 3 month ordeal.

Over the weekend, you cannot get ahold of them. Their phones are disconnected and you cannot start a new claim if you already have one going. Two weeks ago my A/C went out. I tried to go online to start a claim. There was already a claim open from the previous contractor who did not complete the claim process on my HVAC tune up. So this happened on a Friday. I could not get a hold of anybody until Monday morning at 8:00 o'clock when somebody finally answered the phone. Then I was able to get somebody to come out after it being two days with no A/C in Tucson Arizona at 90 degrees. Then I had to wait two more days until Wednesday when the contractor could finally make it out here, to then simply plug something back in that the previous contractor left unplugged. It would really be nice if people would call you back when they say they're going to call you back. I have asked customer service to call me back on two separate occasions and to speak with a supervisor, and I can't get a hold of anybody. But I guess it doesn't matter as long as they get my $110 every month, right? They always do what they say they're gonna do.

I had this company for a couple of years and paid their rates. When it came time to replace a hot water heater and the appliance tech came to my house, I discovered the $ amount of coverage was less than my out of pocket charge. I looked at a local appliance store, and called a handyman for total cost, and saved myself 40% over what I would have paid. I dropped their coverage because it wasn't a good value for the price.

We've had pretty good interaction with everybody. They're responsive. I like the online tool that's easy to use as well. We had someone out to fix our heat and he was done in 5 minutes. One interaction we had there was some difficulty between 2-10 and the contracted team. Something wasn't done right but because things ended between the companies they couldn't come back to fix it.

Faucets and bathroom fixtures are not covered well. I got a whole new air conditioning twice and furnace covered, but to get a faucet replaced they don't pay very much. Nice support, but the hold times are very long to try and get ahold of anybody.

I know they're gonna answer the phone, it works out. The only knock I have against 2-10 is that they send a different company out every time we've called, and when you have the same problem, you lose continuity of one company to track the various repairs that take place, so everybody who comes out is brand new on this issue.

I had a dishwasher that would not drain and I electronically requested a work order. In that particular instance, they were able to get someone out pretty quick. In another instance I had a problem with my toilet and that took about 2 and a half days to get someone out.

Unfortunately my most recent experience was not a positive one. My air conditioner went out and that was over the summer when we were having 105 degree temperatures and I was without air conditioning then for almost two months because communication between 2-10 and the air conditioning place that they contracted out. If I did not have a home warranty and had just simply paid for that out of pocket, I would have gotten the conditioning back within a week maximum like everybody else did. But because I went with 2-10, it was delayed during the worst heat of the summer.

They will not cover my zonal air conditioning. The unit was the builder's choice and I bought the home as a 2nd owner. The 2-10 policy could have offered an optional coverage. However, when I've needed them for all the other items they have covered us terrifically!

Because of our location they don't have many service providers. A couple of times we had a tripped switch on the main circuit and it was immediately addressed. They got the nearest service provider and they got me an appointment, so they came over and corrected the circuit breaker.

The service can range from really exceptional to average. I've had absolutely amazing service and then I've had service that you wouldn't wanna brag about. I had a garage door repaired iwthin a day and an airconditioner fixed within 4 days, but used three different companies.

Every time I've called 2-10 they have answered my questions and tried to be helpful with any issues that we've had. We've had to have multiple contractors come out for one problem, which is probably the only issue that we have had. The issue is not 2-10 itself, but some of the contractors 2-10 has.

Easy to file a claim and get a representative. I've had to use it actually a couple times. I've used it for my H V A C, twice for heating and air, and then I've also used it for when my ice maker stopped working. Although website makes it easy to file a claim, when one has to call to ask a question one is often on hold for over an hour. Last night I was on call over an hour and still did not get my question answered despite talking to 2 service people. Its been 3-4 weeks since claim filed and service provider determined that appluance needs replacing but no contact by 2-10.

They should hire better people. I reported that my ice maker wasn't working and it took two weeks before they even sent somebody out. Then the guy came out, ordered parts, scheduled an appointment to fix my ice maker and never heard from again. I've reached out to Choice and they said they were going to send him a special work order today saying "you need to respond within twenty four hours to the lady" and he still hasn't called back.

I've just been overall very happy with them which is why I've kept them for all the years I have, I wish the rates didn't go up so much each month but other than that I've renewed every year. They've replaced the air conditioning unit, hot water tank, repaired the refrigerator, garage door so I've been pretty happy with the work.

We needed to use our warranty recently for a hot water heater that finally went after almost 20 years. We called 2-10 and they essentially had someone come out it because we needed the updated water heater. It takes a few days but it didn't take long so that was a timely service.

Whoever helped me give me a couple days for the soonest availability and since it was our air conditioning unit in the middle of summer said she'd call back and she found somebody and they came earlier than expected.

I think 2-10 is a very good program. And worth the money for sure. The best thing about it is that I don't have to search for the workers, contractors in each field, because they're already screened. And if I need them to come back, 2-10 will get them to come back and I don't have to deal with that.

There's a lot of things that I need to use my warranty for, and I've recommended them to a friend a couple times already. The wait times are ridiculous because sometimes you have to call back, everybody has a different level of experience and knowledge, and sometimes you have to fight to get claims processed.

A few weeks ago I had my air conditioner fixed and the technician responded within a few hours of making the claim on 2-10, and they were there the next business day. It just took a little while to get in touch with an actual person in customer service.
