Protect America's monthly fee ranges from $19.99 - $41.99. With said prices, the yearly cost ranges from $239 - $503. Protect America's complete cost over the course of the 36-month contract ranges from $719 to $1,511. This price includes 24/7 monitoring, no installation or equipment fees, a price match guarantee, and a locked-in rate. Customers who purchase Protect America's basic home security package will pay $19.99/mo, and customers who purchase the more advanced package with cellular monitoring and remote access to their system will pay $41.99/mo.

The higher cost for the cellular monitoring is due to the increased services and features available (such as remote control of a security camera, real-time alerts from motion sensors and other home automation features) that are not available with landline monitoring only. $41.99/month for added features and cellular monitoring is still a competitive price and one of the most affordable offers out there.

I picked them out of the companies I talked to for a quote because they were the most customer service oriented and they were the first to talk to me about actual pricing without a lot of red tape. They've been really responsive to any questions I've had and when my husband and I received the system and how to install it, we had someone walk us through all of that and they were very patient and helpful. I know that they go above and beyond and at the money you pay a monthly fee that's something that I really care about. I know I'm not getting strong along. I didn't feel like it was a hassle at all. I saw the add on Facebook. I ordered the equipment and they didn't tell me that I needed a SD card so I'm unable to watch videos and stuff. I with the SD card came with the camera, especially with how much I am paying each month. I like that I do get a notification. We had a false alarm once and they immediately called. It was very easy to install. It was great on IOS but not on android. They need to improve the android app because it's going to be a problem. We cannot start and stop the alarm using the android app. Its per month cost is too much.

It's very good equipment. It's easy to install and they walk you right through it and it's a lifetime warranty. If you move you can take it down and take it with you. They are very prompt, the first couple of days, I was making a mistake and was actually punching in my wrong code and the police was showing up at my house within three minutes. Customer service has always been very courteous and answers my calls or calls me back. I'm very happy with their service.

It's pretty decent. The best thing is the sensors, each sensor lets you know when you're coming in and out and doors opening and everything and let you know what's going on. I thought it was good to try and I chose it because of the woman who assisted me on the phone. She was very helpful, very informative, and professional. The information that I was given about where to register my alarm the city of Rockford was incorrect, the city of Rockford changes constantly so I believe that the information should be updated in a better way. It seems like the best equipment that could be available and they explained to me what was involved with installation. The sales person answered all my questions. Every time I call customer service, they pick up within a minute or two minutes and my questions are answered and things are explained. They're more than willing to spend time with me and not rush me off to get the next customer service person. I'm very happy with their response time, the equipment, and the website and how things work on smart phones. I canceled my other alarm company because they never worked, but this works and I really like I go the best deal I could, I got a lot of free equipment and when I added equipment I always seemed to be getting a discount. They are the real deal as far as security goes; I really trust them.

The programming of cameras and sensors is tedious and monotonous . Don't recommend. It takes about one hour to program a camera and if your internet router needs upgrading you need to start all over again . Equipment is not replaced for free, especially cameras and the speed of internet must be really good to power cameras. I would not recommend this company. Make sure you read all fine print because they will totally screw you if you don't notify them in the exact number of days to cancel. go to lowes or home depot

I received notification that my alarm system is saying forced entry. I contacted the monitoring service and was told that they don't have permission to alert the police . I am confused . What am I paying for in ? Do I need to retain a lawyer to terminate my contract ?

Please do not sign with this company. They are hard up scamming, thieving, no good and ruthless. They have no concern for the customers they only want to get paid. Do not fall into hard times and expect some real assistance. They gave me a suspension for 4 months after losing my home and my job and expect me to have a complete bounce back. They are charging me 54.99 for services not being provided. They told me to transfer my account to someone else but no one wants if for what it’s worth no one will take it with the treatment that I am getting for hardship and unforeseen matters. RUN RUN RUN AWAY FROM PROTECT AMERICA. They are money hungry!!!

I have been a customer for 3 years and I have been very disappointed in the service provided. The app does not work intermittently, the alarm randomly goes off in the minute of the night without cause, they fail to call when the alarm goes off and the month cost is higher than most other companies. Happy to be leaving to go to another more affordable company.

We have tried 6 times over the last 4 months to attempt to cancel our service in conjunction with a move. Understand before you subscribe that it is nearly impossible to cancel the service. They intentionally make it convoluted and fail to follow through on commitments to provide follow up communication or correspondence.
