The first time I talked to a sales rep everything was smooth , the person was very respectful and show he cared after he got the sale he showed his true colors, also o was told it was a 30 day try out period but when I went to cancel they said the trail period was only 15 days

The best thing is that it is wireless service and if your lines gets caught or your power gets cut you still have 48 hours of back up battery on the system. It is easy to install yourself, very user friendly and when you have questions they are very helpful with their calls. They explain everything to you and help you out as much as possible. They go above and beyond.

It is good and reliable and pretty much the same as what I had before but with more options and the price was right. I feel secure. I was not able to sign up right away and told Aaron I'd get back to him once I closed on my house. I sent him a follow up email 4-5 days later to let him know that I still planned on signing up. Pretty disappointed to not hear back from him. Will probably just call the general number and just sign up with the first person that answers.

Customer service is really slow but they are really attentive whenthey finally do get around to calling you back. Need more instruction videos for doorbell and camera installation. Took me and a Prtect America rep more than an hour to get my camera working. Would have helpful to have better instructions in advance as yo what yo be ready for.

I had Northstar before and the alarm panel was easy to manage. The alarm panel that Protect America provides isn't as easy to navigate. Everything else from the sensors to customer service has been awesome.

The price is a little high for what you get. I only have first floor doors and windows, no motion sensors

Never used it after the first alarm, cops arrived when we were not home. Considered false alarm therefore was given a warning that each false alarm is charged. Unplugged everthing because husband has dementia causing the alarm. Will be paying almost $1500 more because of contract can not be cancelled. That is not fair when you have no control over it.

Equipment has been excellent. There were some miscommunications when I first joined and I ended up getting a number of sales calls that weren't wanted so they should maybe have a bit more communication on that end but other than that customer service has been pretty good.

Sometimes the doorbell works and sometimes it doesn't work. They could have given me a little bit more information about how the system goes in and out. They also didn't tell me they would automatically be billing my credit card, they didn't let me know it was an automatic thing. They billed me before asking how me service was.
