Protect America's monthly fee ranges from $19.99 - $41.99. With said prices, the yearly cost ranges from $239 - $503. Protect America's complete cost over the course of the 36-month contract ranges from $719 to $1,511. This price includes 24/7 monitoring, no installation or equipment fees, a price match guarantee, and a locked-in rate. Customers who purchase Protect America's basic home security package will pay $19.99/mo, and customers who purchase the more advanced package with cellular monitoring and remote access to their system will pay $41.99/mo.

The higher cost for the cellular monitoring is due to the increased services and features available (such as remote control of a security camera, real-time alerts from motion sensors and other home automation features) that are not available with landline monitoring only. $41.99/month for added features and cellular monitoring is still a competitive price and one of the most affordable offers out there.

I am an 11-year Protect America customer and never had a problem with the customer service or tech support. Of course, I've had sensors get old or devices needed replaced through warranty but Protect America has always been on my side. I just renewed for another 48 months. I don't have any issues with the company and I will always have an alarm system. One feature I like is that you can move anywhere anytime without being a hassle. Worth the money for that added protection for my family.

I think the company is excellent and their veteran discount makes its very affordable. Customer support was excellent. I was supposed to get a call from their finance office the day after it was installed and it was at least three day and they did not call me back. The adhesive tape on the back of the unit it very cheap, I have already had one false alarm because the of the tape.

It's a really reasonable rate, and easy to use. I have the basic equipment and it is very straightforward. I could set it up by myself. There are not a lot of complicated wires so it is very customer friendly and the website it user friendly. The staff members that helped me order gave me the information and were vey patient with me and so far everything is delightful.

I’m a widow who has had this service for over 11 years. I have had some hardships and they said they could lower my rate for a few months. I said great they then sent me something to that effect I did not realize I was signing up for s year. I’m 78 years old. I became sick and had to move to a senior living facility. I do not need this system as I’m not at my house any longer. They will not cancel this contract for me after being with them for over 11 years. I. CAn not afford to pay for this as I’m on a very low budget. I don’t know what to do they have been awful to me. Please help me.

I have had the worst experience imaginable with this company!! I signed a 3 year agreement with them. I have had multiple issues from the very beginning, whether it be connection issues, interference issues, app issues or the motion sensor just not working. I have contacted them multiple times and have gone through various troubleshooting processes. This product is horrible! What is even worse they will not let me out of the contract without paying the entire balance, there is no early termination fee ( which I think I shouldn't pay in the first place) or wouldn't just cancel the service (which should happen). I have been in contact with customer service multiple times and they will not budge, pay off three years of service or nothing! This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had and the product does not exude confidence in its ability to keep you or feel safe!!

Extremely fraudulent billing and literally stole money out of my bank account. Took payments for 2.5 years out of my account and refused to refund any portion. Just don't try to leave them. Then one lie after another to excuse their behavior.

I would not recommend this security company . They don't upgrade equipment when they or the ones who say you need it. Equipment gives false alarms and you give them secret word but police still show up costing you money. If you call them you will wait 30 minutes to talk to someone. I don't think anyone should use this security company.

First of all, we were forced into a 3 year contract and was told that there were no other options available to us. Secondly, my husband lost his job, was forced into retirement and we had to move 3 times in the last year. We have been paying $41.99 per month for almost a year now for a system that we can't use and can't afford. They will only let you out of the contract if you prepay the remainder of the entire contract, ($587.86 in our case) which is absolutely no help to us at all. Unless you have an unlimited income stream, and know that your living and financial situation will not change over the next 3 years, you need to choose another security company.

The set up and install has been easy. The price point is affordable. The system is user friendly. The phone app has had issues of being offline from time to time but I've noticed some improvements on that working better. The warranty on the equipment was a big sell point, along with the locked in price and the system can go with you.

From day one I have had issues with this company. Most recently had an alarm event (front door was pushed open) alarm rang for 4 minutes and I had already turned off the alarm before anyone from the dispatch center called me to see if I needed help. Worthless company!!!
