Guardian Protection has been great. Anytime my alarm has gone off, they've called immediately to figure out what was going on and offer help/send police/fire department. One time my smoke detector went off. I explained I burnt something in the oven which set off the detector. About 2 minutes later, I received another call from Guardian offering to have a pizza delivered since I burned dinner. That was completely unexpected and much appreciated. They went the extra mile for me.

We are very pleased with our service with Guardian Protection. They system works very well and customer service and technical service are readily available if a power outage messes things up, for example. Both groups are very clear and patient with their directions on how to fix whatever. We very rarely get information on new technology - that is the only thing I'd change, believe it or not! I'd actually like more information on what new technology is being developed in the home security field.

So far, so good. The salesperson showed up on time, gave me a LOT of information and was gracious about allowing time to discuss the decision with my wife who was at work when he was there. He applied every possible discount and special offer to keep the price low. We've only had the system for 10 days or so, but in that time, it has proved to be reliable and easy to use. Ours is a pretty minimal system {we only have a motion sensor and a doorbell camera), but has the capability of adding upgrades.

The low battery signal came on for my alarm system and I couldn't figure out how to open the panel so I called Guardian. The tech on the phone couldn't help me either so I scheduled a service call. Derek B came to the house and showed me how to open the panel and change the battery. Also, I had been unsuccessful adding an additional code to my system. Derek easily added it for me. Finally, a service tech who knows what they're doing!!

I was very happy with the service given to me today. The tech not only installed my camera, but by his impeccable knowledge, sold me live stream which will enable to detect/comprehend an unwanted intruder. Doing a safety check, it was brought to my attention that thier was a problem with my garage door of which I wasn't aware of, and I thank him for that. Feeling uncomfortable knowing that issue, he told me about a senor for my garage door. No one ever told me about that, and I've had the service for years. Great service, and I will sleep better tonight knowing I am better protected.

I've been a Guardian Protection customer for over 10 years. Purchased video cameras and installation. The onsite sales representative was helpful, but said the technician would relocate my door bell. This did not happen. The first customer service representative was good but forgot to document everything we discussed as it related to pricing. When I called back to confirm which option I wanted, I ran into difficulty because the new representative would not honor the quote I was given due to lack of documentation. I had to wait for them to get in contact with the first representative before proceeding. Also, each customer service representative said all the cameras were 1080p. Turns out the video doorbell was only 720p. Not what I paid for. Finally, the installation technician was efficient, helpful and informative. Only thing is that the doorbell could not be relocated without hiring my own electrician. An added expense. This experience with Guardian is unlike my prior experiences. I'm still a satisfied customer, just not completely satisfied with these current add-ons.

The representative arrived on time and did a very thorough job of checking our home and installing the system. He seemed very knowledgeable and was able to patiently problem solve. He also educated me about the system including the behind the scene locations of electronics in the attic and in the basement. He had me practice arming and disarming the system, communicating with the system on line, and establishing passwords and learning what additional equipment and services were available to make our home smarter and safer.

Technician Patrick M. came out and got the system online, explained everything about the system and also helped us understand the additional wiring that Guardian had installed in the house for network and audio. He set us up with the app on our phones and explained how to use it. Overall a great experience so far, very happy with Guardian!

Patric repaired the alarm system today May 10, 2018. This involved tracing wires and a some detective work. I was very surprised at how quickly he solved the problem. His work is clean and neat... he explained the problem clearly and was very courteous. Patrick was here before and his expertise was obvious back then. I can't imagine anybody better than Patrick.

I've been with Guardian since 2011, and mid-2012, just out of the camera warranty period, I had an outdoor camera break (a second soon thereafter). Guardian wanted approximately $600 to replace a $120 camera (2 service calls, plus $300 for the camera). They also told me the wrong costs, brought the wrong equipment, etc. Had you asked me in my opinion of Guardian, I would've given them a 2-star rating. But they've come a long ways since 2012. Their equipment is primarily wireless now (mostly, a pro), and their technicians were proficient at the entire installation, including the Skybell doorbell camera. Overall, the experience was far better. Give me a few more years and they might earn their last star back. Regarding the Sales, I compared Guardian to 13 other companies before re-signing a new contract with them; comparisons included ADT, Armorax, SimpliSafe, Vivint, SafeTouch, Nest, Ring, Frontpoint, LiveWatch, Scout, SkylinkNet, and Abode. The other Alarm.com providers couldn't even get close to a similar pricepoint, and while . The non-Alarm.com providers, while having prettier equipment, wanted nearly thousands in up-front equipment fees. Do your research, but I think you'll find Justin in sales will be willing to provide you a great deal, and one that competitor's can't beat.

We had 2 cables go bad in our new home, and of course it was behind the wall. Patrick M and Matt K were able to fish the new cables behind the wall and only had to make a small opening in the wall. I recently had a issue with my smoke detectors. It prevented me from alarming my house. I had an appointment scheduled that I missed. I was then told that I would have to wait 2 weeks for another appointment. I asked to be put on the waiting list and to my delight I received a call this morning that there was an opening. The technician was someone who I met before and He fixed the problem in minutes. He also informed me of the carbon monoxide protection. I am 100% pleased with this company and I highly recommend them.

We just had a wonderful service man named Alan come to our home. He was very polite and helpful. He checked the windows in question and replaced the devices. Alan also went over all the zones to straighten it out as there was some confusion as to zones and listings. I also was pleased that he had shoe covers on as it was snowing and wet. This was very considerate. I was very pleased with his service.

Customer service has always been outstanding. Recently when my credit card was compromised, I notified customer service, and I was assured no service interruption would, even though it might be a few days before I could provide them a new card number for billing. A couple of times my alarm has gone off, and the response I have received from Guardian was timely and appropriate action was taken.

Change over from ADT and glad I did....Their package comes with a translator that interprets the existing left over equipment and added their own smart products to it for a complete monitoring service that is less money that I was paying to ADT...Especially since ADT upped my auto pay bill without letting me know. (out of contract) let's them do it Guardian did Pro install, tested everything and gave great tutorial on how to use it. Only issue I've had was after leaving dog in house and arming to "Away" got call saying motion dector went off. That was from existing detector. They are sending Tech. over to see if it needs to be adjusted or replaced Very happy that we changed over to Guardian.

I had ADT for 5 years and after issues of my bill kept being increased while i was under contract and them being bought by Apollo global management, i left them. They didn't treat me as a loyal customer anymore. After 3 companies pitched me, i chose Guardian. Ive had them over a year and I'm happy with them. My monthly is lower than it was with ADT, customer service is great and my sales rep is always available when i need him. I recommend Guardian to anyone who wants great service, products, and 24/7 consistent monitoring for a fair price

When we signed up, we were told our bill would be around $50 per month. Our first statement came, and it was $73. We were also told our system panel would be a tablet, that is moveable around the house, and it is not. I feel like we were taken advantage of by the salesman.

I haven't had any issues with my service thus far. The best thing about Guardian Protection is the security cameras, but I wish the lag wasn't so bad.
