Literally no one any where around me accepts this insurance. The Provider list on their website is horribly outdated. I called the nearest 20 places listed for general medical service, and for mental health services. Not a single place I contacted actually accepted this insurance.

I received automated voice mail stating that I had been mandatory enrolled into ambetter health plan. Called back and listened to the list of automated prompts. No option to speak with Customer Service. I'm currently abroad so I don't have to pay the medical insurance but who knows how many times I'll be threatened by ambetter or other companies.

Fundamentally horrible customer service. Website has countless broken link, no contact information, and login password reset does not work, and autpay did not work and my coverage was dropped. Hours of my life wasted and was not covered. Look elsewhere than Ambetter!

Paid my first month premium after enrolling on on marketplace. Payment went through and they took my money per checking bank statement. I got an email saying I havent paid and so I called customer service and they dont see the payment although they took the money per my bank account.

Monthly payment was made timely, but USPS delayed delivery which caused account suspension. I was lead to believe making immediate payment over phone would enable claim reimbursement. After having the payment processed and account revival, Ambetter refuses to process claim. This is fraud! Stay away!

You could take between 25 to 30 minutes to check status of claims and appeals. Representatives verify information and then transfer your call to where you need to verify information once again. Hold time for reps to check status could take up to 10 minutes.

False advertising. I have been calling around for two weeks now, directly from their list of 'providers'. Dozens listed, but none of 'their providers' are accepting new patients with Ambetter insurance. Several have stated problems being compensated from Ambetter, so they no longer want to deal with them.

I tried to cancel this insurance because I wasn't eligible for it. They told me 3 different times that my refund was in the mail. When I called the 4th time to check on it, they said that they never said that I would be given a refund. The fact that they lied 3 times was even worse than not getting the refund.

Had a PCP for 9 months that I never used. Called the doctor one day only to be told I am not covered. Called two other doctors, one didnt answer and one told me once they heard what insurance I had that "they were busy and would call me back". Never called back. Terrible insurance. Im going to miss them like a bad rash.

I have used this insurance company for a year now and they have the worse service I could imagine. I will share just one example of their ineptitude: I have requested a card four separate occasions and have yet to receive even a print out! Just one example of one of the more simple problems ive encountered from ambetter insurance.

AMBETTER is the absolute worst. I have MS and they have denied my Copaxon medication 4 times. They are also dragging there feet in approving my MRI and there billing department holds your payment check for 10 days. I have never been so unhappy with a Health Insurance the only thing this place does correctly is take your money.

They have screwed up my insurance every month since I have had it. They aren't excepted anywhere but yet I am supposed to pay a montly premium plus 20%every time I go to a doctor. My montly premium has been screwed up every month and I just get the run around and asked if I can call back in 3 days. No help at all.

This insurance is a big joke, have to wait two months to get my ID card and after making payments upfront for 18 months I get my card. they were trying to steal one full month payment. Doctors from their list want accept AMBETTER, I am paying for nothing cant get even regular wellness check-up.

We are actually sueing ambetter for how terrible there service and help is. Even though we have been enrolled for 5 months and paying our bill we just now have coverage. Impossible to find a dr. Once you do you cant get your prescriptions even at wallgreens.

they send out your bill with less than 7 days to pay, or you are under their `grace period' where they dont have to cover you. They lock you out of your online account when you try to pay online. Their list of doctors dont exist or dont participate. AVOID

Directory is not current. Can't find a doctor that even takes this insurance. Just mentioning the name to an office you can hear their reaction of how bad it is. Thought it was great to have insurance SUCKS that I can't use it!

I made payment for my mom already. But when i checked payment history. I still saw the amount i still owe them for a month. Even i called them, they said that i paid already. They didn't update my profile. Until now, i haven't received the invoice for April and the bill for May. I am not really sacrified with this company.

Worse than awful. I have paid every month, yet in the past year I have had my insurance suspended twice and canceled once. Fortunately, I have not been sick in the past year, so I haven't used my insurance, but .... they have made me absolutely crazy with their billing.

Ambetter customer service is not very good. I had to call several times trying to figure out if a particular service would be covered by my insurance and each person that I spoke with had a hard time finding it or had no idea what I was talking about.
