Better suited for those with experience

Mocavo may be more suited for people who are already experienced with genealogy research. The company is still fairly new so they have excellent features for doing genealogy research but they struggle with customer support. Their help section is not searchable and there is a lot information on their blog and the getting started portion of their site which makes finding the specific information you want very hard.

The Bottom Line

All in all Mocavo.com is a great place to get started with doing genealogical research. You may have to be patient and do your best to learn as you go but you will have an enormous amount of information at your fingertips. The free version of Mocavo has excellent features but if you feel you need more you can try a free trial of Mocavo Gold and then decide if you want to pay for a subscription.
