Carlisle has been in business for over 50 years and is a specialist in wide plank floors. Carlisle makes each of its wood pieces from scratch in their own mill in New Hampshire, making all of their floors one of a kind.

Carlisle offers a Lifetime Structural Integrity warranty for the original purchaser of the floor. This warranty does last a lifetime, but does have limitations. If you are interested in this flooring, be sure to completely understand the warranty. Carlisle also offers a refinishing warranty where you are able to request a refinish on your floors up to three times. 

Environmentally Conscientious

Carlisle is an environmentally conscientious company that only purchases wood from suppliers that practice sustainable harvesting, which allows forests to regrow and heal faster. Purchasing a Carlisle floor is a good choice for those who are wanting to be sure their flooring is coming from an environmentally conscientious company.

Carlisle is only offered in seven states, making its producgts and services very limited for those who can purchase the flooring.

Limited Products

Carlisle only offers hardwood, rugs, and carpets, which means the products are very limited. Carlisle mainly specialize in wood floors as well, so the carpeting doesn’t have as much attention given to it.

Carlisle is a good company if you are wanting customized, wide plank flooring. Carlisle does specialize in their wood, so we would not recommend the company for carpeting over wood floors. Carlisle is more specialized and is not offered very many places, but Carlisle is a good flooring company for those who live in an area where Carlisle is offered.
