The Bad

  • Gym Locations
  • Membership Cancellation
  • Customer Service
  • Pricing Information

Gym Locations

If you live in the state of Ohio and are looking for a local fitness center or health club, you may be in luck. Unfortunately, there are currently no Fitworks gyms outside of Ohio.

Membership Cancellation

A number of Fitworks reviews have mentioned that membership cancellation was a difficult process and for some, it was never properly taken care of. It appears that in order to get the most out of each of the memberships that is contracted, Fitworks charges a fee for cancellation as well as continues to charge the consumer until the cancellation has been officially filed (which can take a number of months). Those who have reached out to management to have these issues resolved and receive refunds have largely been unsuccessful.

Customer Service

Unfortunately, because of the complications when attempting to cancel a membership, some past members are displeased with the customer service provided by Fitworks, stating that they were unable to get the help that they needed. At times, representatives were less than friendly during their phone interactions.

Pricing Information

If you are looking to start a membership with Fitworks, you will need to reach out to a representative as the pricing is currently not advertised online. Knowing how much you will pay for a membership is very important when researching the best gym for you.

The Bottom Line

If you live in Ohio, we feel that Fitworks could be a good option for you as a local gym or fitness center. With group fitness exercise classes, a number of amenities, and personal training options, you will be able to set and get help towards reaching your goals with the help of professionals. If you would like to know what this will cost you, you will need to reach out to a representative at one of the gym locations. Before you sign a contract and start a membership, remember that you will be required to pay an additional fee and possibly pay out the rest of your contracted months if you break the contract. We recommend looking at other options to appropriately compare this gym with others to ensure that you get the best bang for your buck. We cannot suggest this fitness center for anyone living outside of Ohio.
