VeriClock Cost Savings Calculator

On VeriClock’s website, users will find a cost savings calculator. This feature is handy to potential customers as it allows them to figure out their potential savings. The calculator considers how many employees, their average wage, the percentage of payroll error rate, and time errors per week.

VeriClock’s cost savings calculator is simple to use. On the righthand side of the website, there is a tremendously helpful breakdown that explains — in detail — how much money is wasted and how VeriClock’s time tracking system can help.

The Bad

  • Employee Monitoring Capabilities
  • Additional Fee

Employee Monitoring Capabilities

VeriClock is primarily time-tracking software. The company doesn’t offer employee monitoring features such as activity tracking, application tracking, screenshots, working hours, and other “big brother” features.

Additional Fee

At first glance, VeriClock might appear to be one of the cheaper options when compared to similar companies. However, due to an additional monthly fee, VeriClock is one of the more expensive time-tracking software providers.

To use VeriClock’s time tracking software, users will pay $5 per user per month, comparable to the competition. However, upon further research, we found that VeriClock also charges a $10 per month account fee.

The Bottom Line

VeriClock charges more per month than the competition and offers fewer capabilities. Although the software is a reliable option as far as time tracking goes, it lacks standard employee monitoring features. VeriClock’s IP address tracking, voice verification, and GPS tracking are all impressive, but when it comes to finding out how employees are spending their time and where there could be an improvement, those features don’t help.

Overall VeriClock is only really worth looking into if your company needs time-tracking software. If you’re looking for detailed insights into how your employees are using their time and where your company could improve, we recommend looking into our other employee monitoring software companies.
