ReachMail offers solutions for creating, sending, and analyzing your email campaigns. Since 2001, they've focused on two things: "make the easiest way for marketers to send email" and "have the best, personal customer service." An incredibly generous free plan, ReachMail is currently seeking to prove that they offer more features and a better platform for less than you'll pay with their competitors.
ReachMail has time limit on the free trial and you can send up to 15,000 emails per month to up to 5,000 contacts. That gives small businesses a lot of resources and options without having to spend a dime. And if you do need to upgrade to a paid plan, they start at only $10 per month. The only features not included on a free account are Google Analytics, email previews, priority sending, and a custom email template
Not only are there hundreds of free templates to choose from, all paid accounts get a free custom template. Designers take your inspiration and build a template to match your style and brand. This is another unique feature that sets ReachMail apart from many of their competitors.
ReachMail's reporting lets you know how successful your campaigns are. You can see how many emails were opened, how many bounced, spam complaints, and which links received the most clicks. Deliver your campaign to multiple lists and see side-by-side delivery statistics to see which was more successful. Many sights offer similar analysis, but what is more unique to ReachMail is that their reports also analyze social media. You can post your email to Facebook or Twitter and then see how often it is clicked.
Another feature that comes standard that is lacking for many of ReachMail's competitors is a built in survey creator. You don't have to create any third party accounts. Simply build the survey through ReachMail and get real-time results.
None of ReachMail's plans offer unlimited sending. If you need to send more emails than your monthly plan allows, you'll be charged for every thousand you send at a rate ranging from $1.50-$0.74 per thousand.
ReachMail offers autoresponders, but only recurring ones. You can send a timed email, for example to a new subscriber, at an exact time or frequency. However, they do not offer triggered autoresponders which allow you to set up emails that will go out based on your subscribers' actions-what they click, if an email goes unopened, etc.
Two of the most obvious features that ReachMail lacks is an online support chat and mobile email optimization. They boast superior customer service, but they don't offer 24/7 support and they don't allow you to chat with a representative to get questions answered. Additionally, considering how much is done on smart phones, it's rather limiting that they don't optimize their templates for mobile phones.
