If you’ve signed up for the free trial or for a monthly plan, you’ll automatically be billed for the next month so that service isn’t interrupted, but AWeber offers a 30-day full refund if you’re not happy with the service. After the free trial, the prices are affordable and include a lot of great features including unlimited emails, so you won’t have to pay more no matter how many emails you decide to send out in a month. You can also save money by signing up for a quarterly or yearly plan to drop the price a bit.
AWeber requires a credit card for their free trial while many of their competitors do not. Signing up for the free trial also automatically sets you up for a paid account following the trial, so you’ll have to cancel the account before it renews by sending an email. It also only lasts 30 days, while many competitors offer free—albeit limited—plans.
AWeber doesn’t allow users to important from Gmail or other third-party address books and many reviewers reported that the manual import option was tedious as it only allows you to import 10 contacts per form.
You cannot currently build a survey directly through AWeber. Instead, you have to utilize Google Documents, Survey Monkey, or SurveyGizmo, which can then be integrated into your email message. In order to analyze the results of your survey, you’ll have to view reports directly from whichever host you chose to use rather than through AWeber.
