Duffy's Napa Valley Rehab intends to help people who suffer from addictions to alcohol, prescription medications, and other substances. Using a treatment philosophy based upon the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12-step recovery model, Duffy's relies upon the following key elements of recovery: Breaking through denial; achieving abstinence; recovering physically; appropriate amount of rest; and developing the living skills necessary to achieve a lasting sobriety. These skills include the critical issues of managing interpersonal relationships, engaging in conflict resolution, and exercising personal discipline. Located in Napa Valley, California, Duffy's has many different amenities as well as treatment programs to help their clients reach their full potential.
Duffy's is accredited by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), CARF, CCAPP (California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals), and NAADAC (The Association for Addiction Professionals). With each of these accreditations, Duffy's becomes a better and better option for those looking for true help.
One of the more unique aspects of this program is that Duffy's advertises that they are willing to work with clients to make the financial aspect of the program work: "Addiction is a life and death situation and we want to help everyone possible. We'll work with you to customize treatment and payment options that meet your circumstances." With different programs like an on-site detox, a foundational program, an extensive relapse prevention program, a relapse restart program, an outpatient treatment program, and a continuing care program, Duffy's structure provides the best options for a life without relapse and addiction. With the addition of aftercare and a year of free follow-up meetings and intensive weekly sober support, Duffy's intends to have their clients free of addiction even after the program is over.
With over 500 reviews online from clients that completed the program, you can see why Duffy's is a popular place to achieve recovery. Through these reviews, you can see the personality being Duffy's and why is it a mainstay of the rehab circuit in the US.
Unfortunately, Duffy's doesn't offer a dual-diagnosis program and cannot accept guests that have a primary mental health diagnosis. Though they do provide addiction treatment services to men and women that experience certain co-occuring mental health disorders, they cannot accept those who are not stable.
Duffy's does have a Success Rate page dedicated to explaining why they won't post a success rate on their website and though they have a lot of good information on that page (i.e., why some success rates are misleading, where data can be skewed, why you can't trust everyone that publishes success rates) it still doesn't include whether or not their program is successful. Though they do include a completion rate (95%) which reveals whether or not people will complete the program, and they do a good job of addressing why success rates are misleading, they still don't publish theirs.
