  • Price: Rackspace offers some of the most competitive pricing in the industry. One feature customers are certain to love is the pay-as-you-go method, allowing for monthly payments. The pay structure is also based on hourly usage at an average of 730 hours per month.
  • Manageability: Rackspace uses its Cloud Control Panel and API to list, modify, remove and add domains and subdomains. It can also record, import and export domains and records for free whenever customers desire. The interface is easy to use and grasp, and it allows for hassle-free migrations.
  • Experience: Rackspace hasn't been around the longest in the DNS industry, but is does have more than a decade and a half of experience under its belt. Rackspace is at the forefront of this cutting edge industry and continues to adapt and change as technology allows for innovations and changes. The leadership team brings years of experience working in the industry and as leaders of other organizations.

The Bad

  • Setup

While the platform is easy to use once it is operational, the setup can be clunky and confusing. There is a lack of setup wizards and guides through this process. Users could become frustrated and annoyed by this tedious process that doesn't have to be such a chore.

Connecting remotely to a Windows server is not automated and can also cause unnecessary stress to the user.
