I disagree with the ridiculous HIGH FEE that's charged once a settlement is reached on a clients account. People come to your company for debt relief HELP not to get RIPPED OFF, worse than the credit card companies themselves. I don't consider your plan of action helps someone but instead causing them to get deeper into debt. It defeats the whole purpose of trying hard to manage the monthly deposited that are set aside in order to have enough money to pay off any settlement when you guys are in the business of just ripping off your clients.

When I started with Freedom Debt Relief I was very excited to find an avenue to getting out of debt. However now I have found out I have to pay the IRS on the savings. I am sure it was in the original agreement but I don't remember seeing it and I feel that is pretty important information they should have pointed out to me.

Freedom did not handle my claim with Discover. They said they negotiated a settlement and the I got sued. I went to Freedom and no help was given they lied and would never give me any proof of their agreement with Discover. I was sent a graduation package from Freedom saying I completed and all debts were settled. in this package included Discover completed settlement however Freedom missed one payment. Freedom is a joke do not use

Signed up and gave the agent a specific date to withdraw my account and the withdrawal was made three days prior to the specified date. The way this company works causes creditors to come after me and I'm not comfortable with the process as I am already seeing damage to my credit report. When I asked to cancel stating that I don't want to waste any more time speaking to anyone, all I get are phone calls while I'm working. I just want my first deposit back and to cancel my service.
