Nobody ever talked about closing the accounts ! not in the initial interview , sign up, or in the literature or online . I talked to 2 people about it and they were very vague and said you can but its better not too so in the mean time its accrued me more debt.

I loved the great service provide! Yet there was a horrible glitch in one of the debtors, they never got notified of FDR taking charge of my bills! It cost much anguish and anxiety to being served to court! Had they taken care of that promptly then the original would not have reach the amount it did!

Deposits/Fees/Creditor Payments listed on website DON'T match personal bank statements reviewed by multiple individuals. Fees FAR outweigh payments to creditors and use up most of the "dedicated account", leaving barely anything going towards settlement payments. Repeated requests to have account terminated and be removed from their program have been ignored or disregarded. So many issues with this program, if I had known it was this poor of a program I never would've enrolled. It has done far more damage to my credit and payment progress than it has helped. Sounded too good to be true, because it is!

Beware most of this you could do on your own without the outrageous fees. They advise you to stop paying on your debt and let them negotiate - great right... But for example, I had one card enrolled balance of $1398.00 they negotiated it to $829 mind you the credit card offered me a 50% reduction without fees but I sucked it up and stood by the Freedom debt relief thinking, in the end, it would all work out. The settlement fee was $349.50 now bringing the amount paid to $1178.50 mind you again had I handled this with the company directly the amount would have been less than $700 altogether. Another one... enrolled amount of $6,203.00 they did a reduction of 50% great right that again any one of us could do.. the fee for them was $1550.75 for them to go back & forth come on guys.. The breaking point was when I did the math and realized I paid them $4262.75 just to settle a debt that I could have done it better on my own than the others at the same debt I had to remove from my profile as the amount they tried to negotiate for was the amount the debt is/was. I lost it when I called last week to get the amount needed to be done I made 1 extra payment to avoid being charged ever again. I logged in today to see that I got charged the monthly fee of $21.95 yet again mind you the above total does not include the $21.95($1119.45 total for monthly fees) a grand total spent not including debt - $5382.20 for them to spend a couple of hrs if that every 6-9 months sending emails come on. PEOPLE BEWARE THIS PLACE IS A SCAM don't be fooled by the great pitch its not all its looks to be.
