I like that this company did provide me some amount of stress relief, however that has not been without some anxiety and disappointments. The process is very slow. I got into this program under the notion that after 6-8 payments of on time payments I would offered a full debt release loan which would have spread up the process. However, that has not been the case, and so did feel a little bamboozled. They are slowly but surely handling my debts, which is great but I probably could have saved my credit score from dropping down as far as it has during this process by making my own minimum payments. While I do think it will pay off in the end, the waiting game is excruciating. The customer service 90% of the time has been great though I have to admit

I had what I thought was a simple issue to resolve-to add an eligible creditor to my account that the first person I spoke with at Alleviate said they would enter and the debt was eligible and to just email a copy of the latest statement-which Idid immediately. So a week later, the creditor was not added, I called the original person back, and they said to contact my newly assigned account manager. I spoke with her, she said to upload it or email to the help email. I received correspondence several times advising the debt was not eligible. I could not accept that, as one credit card from the same finance company creditor was accepted, so why not this one? I was provided all kinds of non-sensible ideas on why the creditor was not added-none of it made sense. I called again and got Gary. He UNDERSTOOD immediately and was very professional, knowledgable, and kind. Gary got the credit card account added with no problem. Give this man a raise!
