Fab.com provides customers with a direct phone number to speak with a member of what they refer to as their ‘crackerjack team’. This team of customer service representatives are able to answer questions about their designers and the products they offer. Users who prefer to receive response via email are able to contact their crackerjack team at [email protected]

Users can narrow their search options through 6 main categories including shop by department, new arrivals, featured designers, back to reality shop, popular today, and 100 weekly deals. Members can then search through their extensive inventory of home décor and accessories, kitchen and dining, bed and bath, art, jewelry, tech and gadgets, furniture and lighting, and fab exclusive designs. Their most popular deals in each product category are posted directly to their front page making it easy to obtain deals on popular products quickly.

Fab.com has only been in business for 3 years. This is significantly less time than many of their competitors who have been in the deal site industry for 10 years or more. They are young and have yet to prove their viability in the marketplace over a long period of time. They are continuing to make changes which have already allowed them to grow in the marketplace and show promise for their ability to continue to adapt to the needs of their customers.

Because Fab.com specializes in high end products, the discounted price of these items is still fairly high. Customers can expect to pay significantly more than they would at other deal sites because of the high quality nature of their products. The percentage individuals are able to save varies based on the category type users are searching for.

Fab.com is an excellent resource for individuals in the market for high end products. They provide users with excellent customer service and a large selection of categories to choose from. While they are still young in the marketplace, Fab.com continues to grow and cater to the needs of their client base.

Shipping Cost and Time

Most orders are delivered in 1-5 business. Shipping costs are dependent on location of the customer and also method of shipment. Free shipping is determined by the subtotal during the shopping process. Charges are as follows:

FAB PLUS (48 States) Shipping Charges

  • $5.95 for orders up to $75 and free for orders over $75.
  • Alaska, Hawaii and Canada charges are $12.95 for orders up to $75 and free or orders over $75.
  • Australia charges or $19.95 for up to $75, $29.95 for orders $75 to $150 and over $150 is $39.95

Return Policy

These guys pretty much make returns seem simple because they insist they want their customers to be satisfied with their order. Customers have 30 days to return a product free of charge and the process appears super simple as well. To initiate a return, customers can go the “My Order” page, click on “Return Item”, print the prepaid return label and stick it in the mail. It’s that simple! They do ask that customers send returns back within a few days of receipt and refunds will be issued once the product has been received, inspected and processed. Returning furniture is also a pretty simple process, but there are special instructions for items shipped via White Glove service. Customers have 21 days upon receipt to return furniture. Shipping charges on furniture are non-refundable.

Deals Per Day

Fab works with designers to showcase their work. When designers become affiliates of Fab.com, they may post as many deals as they choose and deemed fit by Fab.com reps.

Length of Deal

The majority of the deals on Fab.com are indefinite, according to a customer service representative. There are, however, some items that will only be featured for a limited time. For example, they have Momofuku Milk Bar product deals going on now for one week only. Currently the majority of the products offered are featured longer term.

Local or Online Deals

All products on the site are online deals which are purchased directly through Fab.com, making these goods online merchandise only.

Wholesale Products

If customers are interested in wholesale items they must contact customer service to inform them of what they’d like purchased at wholesale and the quantity they are interested in. Not all items can be purchased at wholesale prices.

Refurbished Products

All products offered on the site are brand new and they currently offer no refurbished or used products.


During the sign up process, members will receive a welcome letter stating that members have the option to choose when, how often and what items they want to see in their emails. However, when we tried to customize this field, we only had the option to opt in or out of emails. Fab usually sends emails once per day, but as the holiday seasons roll around, they will be sure to send out more as preferred by members.

Mobile Friendly

There is an app for Android and iOS devices that offers customers 24/7 access shopping. Benefits of installing that app:

Support Quality and Type

As part of their customer service that have what’s called a “Crackerjack” team who assists all members in finding solutions and answers to their inquiries. They are extremely quick to respond to emails as it’s their preferred method of contact.
