Free Chrome Extension

CouponChief's internet extension, Scout. can help consumers save thousands of dollars. The extension is completely free and automatically searches for and applies coupon codes while you shop.

The extension is easy to download, and once it’s been installed, you don’t have to worry about searching for coupon codes that actually work. Scout does all the searching for you, so all you have to do is shop.

  • Target
  • Old Navy
  • Bath & Body Works
  • Barnes & Noble

Keep in mind that this is not the full list of stores that CouponChief has codes for. If you are wondering about a certain company and would like to check before you make a purchase, you can go to CouponChief’s website and use the search tool.

Deals Sent Straight to Your Inbox

If you’re an avid online shopper and don’t want the hassle of finding coupon codes, you can subscribe to CouponChief's weekly email newsletter. The newsletter is sent out once a week and highlights different companies and their best deals.

This is a great feature for the avid shopper who is constantly looking for a great deal. But, it’s also a great way for casual shoppers to get notified when their favorite stores are having a sale.

Pays-2-Share Program

CouponChief rewards consumers who share their knowledge of working coupon codes with its Pays-2-Share program.

The program is fairly simple. Sign up with CouponChief (this is actually optional). Submit/Upload working online and printable coupons. Earn 2 percent of the sales from your coupons.

You don’t have to sign up with CouponChief to take advantage of its service. Using the codes is completely free, and no login is required. However, if you do create an account, you can set up email alerts for your favorite stores, earn money for submitting working coupon codes, and (if you own a business) manage promotional content.

You should be aware of the following conditions when signing up for the Pays-2-Share program:

  • The program is limited to U.S. participants only.
  • Coupon use transactions may take up to a few weeks to be reported to your account (however, it possibly could be reported within a few days).
  • After a 30-day holding period and requesting payment, you will be paid via check.
  • There is a strict one account per household policy. If multiple accounts are detected on the same computer, one or both of them could be automatically disabled.
  • Users that regularly submit non-working coupons may have their account disabled (this includes submitting single-use codes).
  • Any activity deemed as spam (including votes, comments, coupons) results in your account being permanently deactivated.

The Bad

  • No Customer Service Number

No Customer Service Number

If you would like to contact CouponChief, you’ll have to send an email or a direct message on Instagram. The company does not provide a phone number for consumers to call.

The company does have a reasonably thorough help desk and FAQ page, but if your issue is complicated, you’ll have to be patient while waiting for the company to see your message and get back to you.

The Bottom Line

Consumers looking to find working coupon codes will probably want to take advantage of CouponChief. The company internet extension, Scout, is free to download (you don’t even have to create an account) and will instantly start searching for codes that will actually work. Gone are the days of manually entering in codes and hoping that they’re not expired.

Additionally, CouponChief’s Pays-2-Share program is an easy way to earn a few extra dollars. All you have to do is share coupon codes with other CouponChief shoppers.

The only issue we have with the company is how difficult it could be to get in touch with a representative should there ever be an issue. There is a pretty detailed FAQ page and help desk, but we’d like to see something like a live chat feature installed. Other than that, we recommend consumers give CouponChief a try.
